LOL the first thing that popped into my mind for the first image is Blue Brothers

That painting is ill I hope there's a scene like that in TIH.

Love that oil painting, I want one!

Two things I loved in this article is the fact that they recognize, and hopefully embrace, the position of having low expectations. It may sound weird, but when people are expecting too much, often no matter how good something is, they'll bash it. People seem to be bashing this before it even comes out, I think it will work to its advantage similar to Batman Begins, in that audiences may be pleasantly surprised instead of letdown because of over exaggerated hype.

Secondly, I like that they realize Banner is, in fact, not Tony Stark or Peter Parker. Some laughs are great, but the character is really about psychology and darkness and depth, just because Ang Lee pounded that down the audiences throat maybe "too much" doesnt mean they should do a complete 180 away from it now, that was my greatest fear and will continue to be until I actually see it but at least it seems that they want to keep the depth to the character, even if for a little...

Sorry if this post is huge but is just the blown up text for anyone that cant get it from the article

Aw man I just strained my eyes trying to read the small scans, now you put up larger versions :oldrazz:. Thanks alot for the scans, interesting read with some good pictures.

Thanks for the scans!

It's great to see the concept/storyboards finally, since that was a large part of LL getting the job in the first place. At the time, they said nothing like that had been on film before.

thanks for posting that.

I think they hit the nail on the head when they pointed out EVERY movie (indeed, every collaborative creative process) is packed with disagreements.

This one just got attention because Norton was involved.

It's cool to see the creative process, but it's better to hear outside of a statement that they made the film they set out to make. Here's hoping the general audience is as receptive as the Comic-Con folks were to this film.

Big up for the scans.

It's good to hear the commitment they have to the film. I really believe this film will be received like Batman Begins: It will be a likeable, pleasant surprise for most, a bit of a mild dissappointment to some and a huge dissappointment to others.

I can honestly say there isn't anything I don't really like so far...nothing has really blown me away either.

Nice reading. I love that oil painting, and the storyboard.

I love how Norton talks and talks only to say what most have wanted to say for a long time: shut up and have fun.

We can worry if a movie is bad after viewing it. (Or not viewing it if it just looks unappealing to you.)

I also love that LL embraces the low expectations. He is right, it may work in their favor, or it could come back and bite him by confirming a lot of peoples expectations.

Alright, May is moving too damn slow now! LOL! I really hope that this insightful article will put a lot of misplaced doubt, rumors, and fear to rest. They sound as if they know exactly what they're doing, and believe they have put together a movie deserving of our money. I can't wait for the outcome of events AFTER June 13th!

Good point.

I totally agree with your Ang Lee statement. I am one who actually likes Ang's Hulk. The problem with it was that it seemed to be so psychological, that I feel like that is the reason people felt it was boring. Me being the Hulk fan that I am, thought that the story was brilliant.

Just the fact that the Hulk and Banner being two different personalities sharing the same space and time, automatically brings in the psychological aspects to the Banner/Hulk dichotomy.

I for one am hoping that the script is as deep as the Hulk script just with more destruction and better characterizations.

Thanks sarg92!

Just noticed that. Norton is already six foot isn't he? Leterrier makes Norton look short!

I noticed he was really tall when I saw him standing next to the Hulk statue at comic con and everyone else was dwarfed by it.

Thanks for the scans!

I love that concept art.
