Trailer #2 now online!

Slightly better, trailer. The additional footage helped. Still, no real coverage of Duke, or Destro. And I'm starting to think Sommers will keep Cobra Commander under wraps until the film's release.

Same here. I'm hoping that trailer 3 is the longest, and sheds a bit more light on the characters. I know a lot of people would call it cheesy, but I think it'd be cool to have some portrait shots in the next trailer highlighting each character and displaying their names. Basically, I want the next trailer to be our "character" trailer, which gives us an idea of who each of these guys is and why we should think they are bad ass.

Maybe the first half of the the portraits would start with a card reading "HEROES" and highlight the Joes, and the second half would have a card reading "THE ENEMY" and highlight the Cobras to-be Destro, Storm Shadow, Zartan, Baroness, and The Doctor. End with an action montage and a one liner, and I think that would be enough to get the audience sufficiently pumped.

I thought they said Marlon Wayans wasn't going to be acting like Marlon Wayons.

G-dammit.

It just gets worse and worse. I will not see this movie. Too bad for me being a huge Joe fan.

Still not liking the suits and the green stuff looks as bad as ever. I'm simply not feeling it. I also don't like the type of humor.

"Millions of dollars. Got it!" *falls backwards*

Yup. If people weren't viewing this through "hate Stephen Sommers goggles," they'd probably actually think it looks cool (as I do). I'm curious to see what kind of reaction that line will get in the theater, where the audience is neutral.

I don't even know who Stephen Sommers is. It simply looks medicore and the only thing I actually like so far is seeing Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes duking it out.

It does look like a G.I. Joe movie, with all of the vehicles flying around after each other and the epic under water battle ect. I just don't know if I'll like the characters or not.

Start the summer with an intelligent Sci-Fi motion picture and end with a bland soulless, heartless, brainless popcorn flick with just a bunch of noise, explosions and crude jokes... nice...

I miss the summers of Tolkienian Epics, Dark Knights and Mutants....

I can't lie. I got a chuckle out of "Millions of dollars. Got it!" *falls backwards*.

My expectations for the film have been sufficiently lowered to where I don't think this film can surprise me with how bad it is, it can only be better than I think.

Marlon Wayons is NO Robert Downey Jr. though.
thats why i think that people will ahve more problems with the actor and not the humor.

''my bad'' . like Shorty from Scary Movie

^ Eh. There's such a thing as bad lines being pulled of by great actors as well though.
I'm sure I wouldn't have batted an eye if that line was delivered by RDJ, but that's because he can make bad lines seem good through his delivery, not because it's a particularly funny line.

I'm starting to think that this movie is only a half hour long. We now have two trailers and two TV spots that have shown mostly the same scenes.

Well, I liked Marlon Wayans' delivery for the "You can do that?" bit. That was funny.

I too laughed at the lines about the accelerator suits from Wayans. I thought he was going to be annoying in the movie, but as long as he can deliver his lines and make us laugh, I don't think he's going to damage it.

I smirked at Wayans line the first time. I don't think the lines when he falls over are supposed to be that funny. Just a small moment of levity before an action sequence, something for the other Joes to react off.

Oddly enough, I'm a bit worried about Dennis Quaid's Hawk. In the trailers thus far, except for the "This is General Hawk" line, he sounds like he's trying too much to be a hard ass, and he really doesn't need to. Here's hoping it works better when it's not edited.

The scale of The Pit is awesome. I'm really looking forward to that.

I love the look on Scarlet's face when Ripcord falls over. Did anyone else notice her "classic colors" jacket? Nice touch.

The underwater stuff looks cool. All the vehicle stuff looks cool.

The more I see of this film, the more I like it. Looks like it should be fun.

Isn't that like every movie though? They made it seem like every scene in Star Trek was Uhura undressing, Sulu fighting with a sword, and Kirk on an ice planet.

Yeah. They've actually showed quite a few areas of the movie, people just don't know what context to put it in quite yet.
