If Trump controls those counting and certifying the votes then he might win anyway regardless of how he does in his campaign or even the number of votes he actually has. Rachel Maddow hinted this could be the case as Trump said he doesn't even need people's votes - he has enough.

Just to let everyone who didn't read the article. Trump got Willie Brown confused with Nate Holden a city councilman of LA with the helicopter story. They're both black.

He said it was Willie Brown just to fabricate stories about Harris.

As I've said, Trump's fear of losing and/or rejection is likely to be his undoing. As his desperation grows, so will his behavior deteriorate. If things continue like this, he's likely to be totally incomprehensible (okay, I know he's basically that now....) by election time. His fear will be the thing that brings him down. People who are afraid generally don't act rationally and that leads to the situation getting worse.

Big Shakespeare fan here. We used to have Shakespeare Santa Cruz and I'd get season passes (plus I organized the stage crew and used to hang out with them when they built the sets). One of my favorite lines from "Macbeth" was the climactic confrontation between him and Macduff. It was the beginning of Macbeth's redemption before his death.

"Lay on, Macduff, And damned be him that first cries 'Hold! Enough!'”

Trump is a lesser person than even Macbeth and I don't think he will be able to come to terms with his hypocrisy, lies, and sociopathic behavior. I don't wish it upon him, but think he will go to his grave in a state of agitation and anger; never understanding that HE was the one who brought on his own downfall.
