Traitor, Con-man, All-time Loser : The Trump Thread

I think what they meant to say is, "To sue the NYT and his niece, Trump had to find an attorney desperate for attention."

High profile lawyers know he doesn't pay his debts.

It's always a freak show around him because of this. Truly smart and talented people won't work for him because he's a backstabber and a fraud and he can not or will not pay for services rendered. So like you said, he's left with those willing to do whatever for the sake of media fame over anything else.

It really is so telling that the Trump world and those in its orbit are so on the nose as what caricatures of Americans are in fiction. Lazy, feckless, illiterate, provincial, willfully ignorant all fueled by magical thinking about just about everything that needs sober analysis.

NY Magazine - Trump Lawsuit Says He’s Too Addicted to Twitter to Make Rational Decisions
Also, he wants to get back on Twitter.

The problem, Trump’s lawyers recognize, is that the terms of service Trump agreed to bind him to holding any legal battles in Northern California. So they are making the case that these terms of service are invalid. The argument they came up with is that Twitter is so addictive that Trump had no choice but to accept the terms of service:

Trump's lawyers say Trump is an addict who needs his dealers to let him continue to buy from them and therefore private property terms don't exist...or some nonsense like that.

The truth is he was a raging narcissist before social media ever really came about and Twitter was just a means to an end.

Surely, no sane judge would set the precedent that claiming addiction nullifies TOS. That would be a nightmare for so many corporations and publishers.

Twitter gave him so much leniency for him to keep his account, and he still couldn't manage it. And of course like everything else in his life he screwed up, he can't accept responsibility for his own actions.

Anyone who voted for him ask yourself why there are so many that Trump hired who turn around and practically confirm EVERYTHING EVERYONE with a brain has said about him for at least six years?

And where are the books that can herald all the "greatness" Trump and his Admin. supposedly accomplished?

Deep down when you aren't letting your emotions lead you by the nose... You know the answer and it makes you feel bad but instead of reckoning with how you could be both so wrong and so easily led you're ego defense mechanism kicks in and you snuff out reason and doubt to lash out at a world that proves you were wrong and delusional on a daily basis.

The answer is simple and it ain't even voting for the Democrats... Just stop supporting Trump and those that enable him and his pack of grifting lying asshats. You don't have to be a part of ripping American society and government apart.

Or you can continue to act as though Trump is Jesus, Superman, MLK, JFK, FDR, Churchill, Lincoln, Washington, The Red Ranger, Zeus, Thor and Captain America all rolled into one whose enemies are the literal spawn of Satan because THAT is so much more reasonable than just seeing that a horrible man was a horrible president.

9 months ago, I would have been all for it. Now, I'd still vote for her, but it probably isn't as great of an idea as he, at least, is pushing hard for the reconciliation bill. People are keeping him honest. Not a huge fan of his however.....
Oh my point was that the threat of her was looming over Schumer and it's why he was championing positions like Student Loan Debt Relief.

Yeah.....not a huge fan of his because he's a bellwether politician who can be your friend one day and shank you in the back the next. Right now, we have the Dr. Jekyll version. Tomorrow.......
