I actually had friends who couldn't watch certain cartoons because his or her parent's thought said cartoon was "evil."

However, Transformers is new to me. I believe the cartoon(s) in question, for said friend(s), were cartoons like Masters of the Universe. I guess the magic thing was a factor.
