Has anyone noticed that the Transformers Autobots logo for the film look a lot like the universal logo for the Cybermen on Doctor Who?

NO, the Autobot logo looks like the Autobot logo. The scene in the trailer with the front of Optimus, clearly, no alteration has been made to it, which I applaud.

Nope.. Doctor Who first appear in 1965 i believe.

dude, that's not a logo....that's a picture.

admittedly they DO have similarities, but the autobots logo wouldn't have made me think of that picture. that picture looks more like iron man than the autobots logo to me.

Grievous isn't a robot.. he is more along the lines of a Cyborg..

Compare him to the Borg..

A Cyborg is a bio-mechincal being.
A Robot is completely mechinical..

Grievous isn't a robot.. he is more along the lines of a Cyborg..

Compare him to the Borg..

Cybermen are nearly indentical to Grevious. They are both cyborgs. Grevious has more fleshy bits though. He appears to have whats left of a head with eyes and some organs (heart and lungs). Cybermen are brains (and nervous tissue) in a robotic shell.
