VERY interesting. I truly hope that IF the Constructicons are in the movie that they form Devastator more than once. And he BETTER be the presence that he is in the comic/cartoon. I want him up, I want him talking **** about his greatness, and I want him breaking faces.

As far as the Fallen, I like this idea better. An army of 11-13 Fallen "generals", with one of them being the bad ass. Give them the vibe of the Wring Wraiths from Lord of the Rings. They abused the Allsparks power, and they lost their "souls" to it. The Decepticons could possibly unite with the Autobots to fight them.

I know it's not credible, but if it's invented, the guy's managed to think up stuff that's actually plausible. Nothing that sounds ridiculously fake.

Interesting idea but I think thats alot for a movie about transforming cars and planes.

I'm calling BS on this, for starters the Ice-Cream truck had a TF insignia, it must be a TF. Secondly......well, I haven't got a second one yet, but I'll post it when I do :csad:

I call BS on the uncle rumors becasue the ICT was labeled in the leaked call sheet as a TF and we have seen a number of the items listed on the call sheet being filmed...

Someone should go over to TFW and tell them that we understand it's quite but to stop being *****, people are not "that" stupid.

The Soundwave not having an alt mode is the one that 'took the cake for me. How are they gonna package a Soundwave toy as a transformer, and he doesn't transform into anything?

Micheal Bay has now confirmed that they are filming out in the Middle East somewhere...

He posted this on SFTE in the last hour or so, by my timing.....

The shooting in the the Middle East is ground breaking - an awesome time had by all the crew.

The Transformer Ride at Universal making all the press rounds - not sure yet - they had me in a press release saying I supported it - but Universal has a long way to go in my mind. I don't support it - I'm not involved and not sure the story of the ride works, and I know Optimus is not going to just show up to be directed by some new people that have never worked with him. I hate when people ******** a quote from me that I never said.

I'll keep you informed. Maybe the guy making the rides at Universal will direct Transformers 3????

Bay

^^Weird that they didn't bother contacting him before making the announcement.

Some words on the opening sequence from movement coach Terry Notary.

transformers 2

Terry was hired by Michael Bay as the movement coach and choreographer for the opening sequence of his new film Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.

-"It should prove to be a pretty amazing way to launch the second installment of Transformers. The fans are going to love this one!"

Dont like the idea of The Fallen being an army rather than one big bot, with him being able to defeat both Grimlock and Jetfire at once, I dont think he even NEEDS to be an army.

REALLY starting to get worried about this movie, after being positive for so long. Hope this isnt true.

Always remember. With positive hypesters you have negative hypersters also. Ya know, people that think Bay stole their childhood. Shallow people, who put their life misery on how a movie was made.

I still don't believe the pictures out there. I don't even think this board is real.

Seibertron.com has come out with a counter to TFW spoilers. These two need to get a room.

Ryan,

Couple more tidbits while I can....

Arcee doesn't die in the movie, she just doesn't show up until later on, and spends much of her time as a robot.

The movie was not shot in sequence, everyone seems to think that the stuff being shot now is the end of the movie ... Only Bay knows for sure!

Only one character combines with another Autobot to make a bigger robot ...

The Constructicon is 9 vehicles together but will only make a brief appearance.

Scorponok is back in force, and he swims down and uses his interal "spark" to refire ONE of the Decepticons ... Who, Im not tellin' ...

More as I get it! Shhhhhh

DP.

Can I join in on the useless info until proven parade?

Um......................Ratchet isn't in much of the movie. My sources say that he is SECRETLY working on something REAL secret. SO SECRET that it could "blow the horns and the trumpets" on things for those dastardly Decepticons.

Ravage is a Decoupage.

Soundwave will be a pimpin' scion.

I'm not even going to read into all the details... but this movie sounds like one huge mess right now. Am I straying near "hot" or am I in "cold" territory?

It only looks like a mess because people are going numb in the head and making up wild theories due to the lack of info and leaks.

Michael Bay - 1
Fan Boys - 0

:csad:

I just hope the majority of the recently leaked stuff is untrue, most specifically Jetfire and Prime combining, Devastator moving like a gorilla, and The Fallen being an army rather than just one bot.

All of these things would piss me RIGHT off if they were true.

Yea, it all sounds totally cheezy so far. We already gotta deal with more No NO NNNO NONONONO NNON NO NONON (insert random cybertonian talk) NO NO NNNOOONONONO (whiny *****) NO NON Shia. Can't stand that. I'd prefer if nothing was ever released, and we speculated until the teaser.

I don't have the energy right now to work out which piece of ROTF news is real or not....

TF:ROTF completes Egypt filming.....

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen films in Egypt—becoming the first Hollywood blockbuster to film on set in the Middle East in decades.

A major milestone quietly passed last weekend: the first major Hollywood film in decades filmed in the heart of the Middle East. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen turned its cameras at the Pyramids in Egypt, and again in the upper Egyptian town of Luxor, near the famed Valley of the Kings.

This is significant for many reasons but mainly because it represents a rare move by two Hollywood studios, Paramount and DreamWorks, to connect to a country and culture that is perceived to be hostile the United States.

I say 'perceived' because my guess is you'd probably find no more avid fans elsewhere in the world than those clustered around Shia LeBeouf, the star of the film, in this part of the world. But after years of anti-American images in the Middle East, and years of entrenched mistrust, this is the kind of interaction—and publicity—that makes a difference.

I hear from sources within the studio that DreamWorks was "petrified" when producers got clearance to shoot at the pyramids and in Luxor, and that LeBeouf was hesitant but decided to take the leap. (I agreed to hold this news until production had been safely completed.)

Hesitation is certainly comprehensible. Even before 9-11, Hollywood studios and major stars were reluctant to set foot in the Middle East. Luxor was the site of a major terrorist attack in 1997, in which some 60 European tourists were massacred by anti-Western gunmen in a horrific bloodletting.
And since 9-11, A-list stars were hard to lure anywhere outside the United States. Usually Morocco would pass for anywhere in the Middle East, if it wasn't Arizona.

There's more afoot. Another quiet milestone on the road to cultural cooperation with the Middle East passed last month.

In 2006 Steven Spielberg was approached by King Abdullah of Jordan to enlist the director's help in creating a film school for the region. (They've known each other since Indiana Jones went thundering on horseback down a mile-long crevice to emerge in front of the temple of Petra, shot on location.)

The school, the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts in Aqaba, opened in September of this year to no publicity at all. The University of Southern California, where Spielberg is a major donor, signed on as a consultant to create a curriculum for 25 masters' students from around the region, including Egypt, Kuwait and Iran. The university has recruited instructors too.

I'm told that original plans called for Israeli students to be included, but that security conditions ultimately made this impossible. The hope is for Israeli students to be included in future semesters.

This is the way to win over hearts and minds in the Middle East—that "soft diplomacy" we hear so much about from Washington and policy wonks, and see so little of.

In the end, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen shot for several days, bringing together a crew of 150 Americans and several dozen local Egyptians for an effort that producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who called from a cell phone while standing beside the pyramids, told me was "remarkably smooth."
