Hi there, I'm not a fan of Transformers but I can confirm after visiting the Pyramids section in Cairo last Friday (17th oct) that there was indeed a film crew filming on the third pyramid in the Giza area (can't remember the name, but for those of you that know, its the Pyramid with half of one side that looks like it's been dug out. They were filming some scene late in the afternoon before sunset (when the heat was less intense) and it was quite amazing because my girlfriend and I sat on some rocks 20 metres away from it all and managed not to get sussed out by the security crew (who were all wearing T2 badges...one of the crew was tying up his shoelace behind me and confirmed to me it was T2)about 40 people on site, the locals were trying to get their camels and donkeys in the scenes, which involved one of the cast climbing part of the pyramid.....

Interesting to note that the last bit sounds like the images we saw from when Shia returned to work after his crash....

Remember those leaked photo's of Shia and Megan around that mockup stone steps? It would be safe to assume the Phyramids are being used for yet another alien-related matter. Perhaps the Fallen is burried in one of them

Just so you guys know, the pyramids and the sphynx are at earth's true-north point, and mars's true north point has a similar "sphynx looking" monument and three "mountain things" at it's true north point that lines up with the sphynx. Although we now know it's just a bunch of craters, that might be explored. Also, for those of you who didn't know, Luxor was one of the capitals in ancient egypt.

This could be true and lead to a really good plot-point, there was never a reason for the Allspark landing on Earth in the first movie, well, MAYBE it is drawn to The Fallen as he is its protector or he was the first TF or something, but he was banished from Cybertron ages ago, and crash landed on Earth himself.

THAT would be such a cool way to tie to the first movie.

One thing the crew need to remember when making this film and thinking of all the cool action sequences they can pull, is that the first movie wouldnt have been half as good, if the central releationships between Prime and Sam, and Sam Mikaela and Bumblebee werent so relatable and emotional in parts.

Hopefully, they keep those relationships the focus, rather than the action scene's and trying to fit too many TF's in.

Just listened to the podcast from themovieblog uncut. They had Robert from ISEB on the show. He said he guarantees 100000% the constructicons will be in the movie. I think he read the script, he said that if you loved the first movie you will love this even more.

Has it been cofirmed that The Fallen is a character cause there ws an interview I think with Orci and he said that fallen might refer to the defeated side?

^Its all up in the air at the moment, Orci wont answer a question straight that he thinks is a spoiler, so he could have been lying, or not.

I always thought "the fallen" referred to Michael bay's popularity/ career, and how much people liked him as a director. but I could be wrong.

Would anyone else love to hear Megatron's Origins from the comic and the previous Prime's to be mentioned in this movie. It would be a great way to briefly expand on mythology, and show how old this was actually was between the TF's.

Just to hear Optimus say something like "The Prime's have been at the forefront of Autobot belief's since the dawn of time, all my life I have fought to uphold the beliefs of the previous Prime's and carry it into a new age."

Or even to hear Megatron say during a fight with Optimus "I am surprised you have lived this long Optimus, your predecessor, Sentinal Prime, lasted mere hours when we first fought."

Honestly, hearing these two line's or something LIKE this would just blow my mind.

I hope not. There's already just too many co-incidences that bring the TF's to Earth. The Allspark was a good enough reason, but if The Fallen is buried in Egypt too it just becomes redundant. Too much like Megatron in TF1. I would prefer that the Fallen be brought into the picture another way.

They claim he was filming a CNN reporter making some report......
