Ehh, more like Sepultura.. Pantera was good ;)

Not really hyped about any of the bands to be honest.

Social Networking Site Launched for Transformers
Source:Superhero Hype! May 27, 2009

Superhero Hype! received the following heads-up this morning:

To promote the release of TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, Paramount Pictures International and The Picture Production Company have launched a new Transformers website 'Choose Your Side' – a fan site where anyone can grab a wealth of Transformers content to share across their own social web.

The fan site invites visitors to express their allegiance to either Autobots or Decepticons, through a variety of creative and compelling content including site skins for Twitter, Myspace and bebo, desktop downloads and a profile pic creator. The 'transmitter' and 'banner builder' are two personalised applications that you can embed on your social network, blog or site to deliver the latest news about the movie direct to you and your subscribers.

well I happen to like a few of their songs, but I could never go to a concert for fear of not walking out in one piece or at all....

isn't Pantera the preferred band of the 'White Power' crowd??

Just because a bunch of *****e bags decide to like a band doesnt mean there whole fan base or the band themselves are like that.

Phil used to shave his head and the music is pretty empowering when you listen to it, thats probobly why the ''white power' crowed like it so much, but i wouldnt say the band themselves were like that and that when people listen to it it makes them want put a pillow case over there head and start burning crosses in the front yard.

I own 'Vulgar Display of Power'....its somewhere in some box in my closet....but when I watch documentaries about prison and guys have Pantera song lyrics and the logo tatted on their chests, talking about how Panetera 'gets it'....it can paint a picture for someone who doesn't know all that much

It can paint a picture for people who dont get it, but you have to really judge for yourself, you could say the same thing about rap.

Its also the same as saying that all people who listen to metal worship the devil.

You say that like it's not true.

why are we talking about metal as it relates to a movie soundtrack about robots, based on a toy line....??

I have the 'Transformers: The movie' from 1985 and the hardest thing on that is 'The Touch'...Weird Al Yankovic is on there as well

I've heard of them, but that doesn't mean I like them. I know Green Day, Nickelback, The Fray and The Used because they're on the radio all the time. I can tolerate some of them, but I would never spend money on them. I couldn't even tell you what the other bands sound like, but I've heard the names.

When it comes to modern music I like Buckcherry and Disturbed, but, generally, I don't listen to a lot of modern stuff. I prefer 70's and 80's rock.

What kind of metal is Mastodon? Are they closer to Sepultura, Pantera or Metallica.
