i agree 100% with this. i can like the mvoie 100%. but when i look at this pic i think of barricade.

The traxx's head looks awful. The body is alright.

The audi is kinda unoriginal. Looks a lot like Barricade.

Maybe the R8 is Barricade in his new form?

Hear me out. We have heard the opening scene is of the Autobots and military pursuing the R8 in China. Perhaps this is them having finally tracked down Barricade who has switched his alt mode and they are trying to capture/kill him?

 

I'm thinking that the Audi is a reformated Barricade based on the similarities in the overall body design. Though it also seem like it has only one eye, so could it be Shockwave? And the Chevy Traxx head design is just weird.

Though the design I really hope leaks out soon is Soundwave.

Perhaps Barricade had something else to do......another assignment. I'm sure it will be explained in this one. He is too bad ass to get another form. Maybe Barricade will be the "bad luck" guy in this trilogy. Always shows up, always gets humiliated, will come back bigger and badder each time until his demise. Sorta like Ike Clanton from Tombstone or Beni Gabor from the Mummy or Dr. Wily from Mega Man.

I think the Audi looks great. I HOPE that we will here the baddie's talk this time.

 

There have been pics of the Barricade Mustang shown which indicates it's still in the movie. It would be nice to know that Barricade is no longer a Police car, it would make room for Prowl, but I highly doubt this.

 

maybe the image is just a tweaked version of barricade that the source revealed in order to seem a credible and reliable. That could explain the reason why there are no high resolution images available of these so called concept designs? Just my thoughts?

 

Interesting point here.... TFW2005 has removed the R8 and Trax images as per a request by Hasbro and Paramount.....

Bay kept talking about how the robots are so different and unique this time so why make one that looks almost exactly like Barricade? Maybe cause it's so small we just can't make it out? Or maybe it really is Barricade like you guys said. Maybe he gets tired of hiding from the Autobots so he changes his form?

 

It's gotta be barricade, since all the details are exactly alike. Same hands, face, "wings," etc.

Remember Bumblebee in the first one? His 70's Camaro and concept Camaro look totally different, but once 'Bee changed into Robot mode, basically looked the same.

A change in alt-mode seems to be like a human changing his clothes... Same structure underneath, it's just the outer shell that is different.

 

If we can't get Mr. Toywang to show us an image of Arcee, can we at least get some sort of description? What colour is she? Is she really made up of three bikes?
