Transformers "Transformers: The Art Of" book?

Does anyone know if there's such a book. Every other high profile adaptation/comic book movie seems to have one. I have looked all over online and the only thing that talks about the movie other than novels and comics is the "movie guide". This is the least well documented movie of its genre. The movie guide is a big dissapointment with only 70 pages and all images we've seen before not even talking about the production but only of the Autobots/Decepticons and their Bot/Alt/Weapons. They don't even feature ironhide in it. The pricetag was really not justified. Anyone know of any more complete and real books about the production?

That's why i want it, considering the art we just recently saw from hasbro. I think it might have to do with hasbro and co. wanting to keep them from us so we can't say what most have said about prior designs being better. In other words it seems they are forcing us to like the final designs we got.

Was all that concept art you posted in the pics discussion thread from Hasbro and not from the movie designers? Or are they one in the same?

Perhaps Hasbro has the right to the designers work, transformers is there property so this might be the case.

Yea I want a making of the movie book like the one I have for spiderman 3 the Spider man chronicles book is great! I was going to get the transformers movie guide today but if its not worth the money I am not getting it. There was a making of book that was suppose to be out but I think it might have been canceled because the author of the movie guide is the same author for the making of book. And if you look on borders.com and look for it it just says the making of transformers book is in print and should have been out in june. Amazon.com said that they don't know if the book will ever come out! Man I wanted that book!

I would love to take a look at a detailed Art of Transformers book as well.

I'm very curious to see the designs for the transformation processes so that I might know if the transformations were all planned out and work mechanically, or if there's some "fudging" going on through the use of the CGI.
