I got the Universe Hound this morning...last one at TRU

That TF Universe deluxe Hound is indeed a cool toy. Looks great in both alt mode and robot mode with nice articulation in robot mode. Good to finally see some new TF toys that are actual improvements on the G1 versions.

My only nitpicks: I still prefer the old retractable robot hands to the new flip-out versions that leave a big open gap in the arm. Plus I still wish there were a few die-cast parts or joints, but I understand the need to keep the production cost down.

But overall, a wonderful representation of the G1 classic with some needed improvements.

Saw a Starscream yesterday at Wal-Mart, one of the TF Universe figures with the 25 year stamp, forgot how much fun it is to Transform a toy for the first time.

That Hound looks awesome..any other pics of TF Universe figures out there? Are they as good as Hound?

Actually it's Takara/Tomy using TF's cash in on Disney. It's one of their 'label lines. Which will probably only have 2 figure before they drop it.

I've noticed that the prices on Transformers have gone up sharply in the last month or so.
The carded Universe figures that used to be $7.99 or $8.99 at Target are now $11.99.

Saw these these bad boys at target and HAD to get them. I got Acid Storm for X-Mass, from my secret santa at work, she pretty much asked me what I wanted. Then 2 weeks ago I went to target and Star Scream was there. I almost flipped out, freeking sweet version of G1 screamer. It's like at tiny masterpiece figure.

I came close to picking him up in Target but then I saw they wanted 60 and it was the wrong color red and the paint job looked bad... His smokestacks where way to short as well...
