I find it funny that there have been tv spots for Transformers three months before it premieres, but we haven't got one TV Spot for POTC3, Spider-man 3 or Shrek 3, and they premiere next month.
And for me, Spider-man isn't even on my must see list this summer. I'm gonna see it, but I need to see The Bourne Ultimatum, POTC3, and Transformers more.

Don't forget amazing work of WETA on King-Kong's look. But I must agree with you, Transformers look even better

I may step on some toes, king kong looked great, but i think both Transformers and Pirates look better imo, but if you disagree you have a valid argument King Kong does look stellar, but there is that air of non-reality that still existed between me and the movie, where as with Pirates, and these Transformers trailers it literally could pass off as animatronic or something more real

KK looked very realistic and the whole look was amazing, it was much better made than the whole POTC2 movie as I think. Yeah, POTC2 vfx looked awesome, but not as great as was KK.

What about TF, I need to see more finished footage to judge, but now I can say that TF has chance to improve what both KK and LOTR did.

this is where we agree to disagree but Davy Jones is imo probably the most realistic piece of CGI todate, and I also felt the Kraken was Kong's equal in terms of giant moster CGI
