Tribute to Alex Toth

For those of you who know who Alex Toth is, I found out today that he passed away a week ago. In rememberance of a man whose artistic endeavors sparked my own creativity and imagination, a man who I feel had as much an impact on my life (as I'm sure many other artists out there) as any comic book artist or illustrator past/present- I want to start this thread to honor his creative spirit.

For those of you out there who may not know who Alex Toth is...I am confident in saying that although you may not know his name, you most definitely know his work. The following is a link to a gallery of his work-

The countless afternoons and Saturday mornings I spent in front of our tv watching shows like Space Ghost, the Herculoids, Birdman, Superfriends, Fantastic Four...(the list goes on and on) will always, always be a major part of my childhood and my artistic beginnings.

With much heartfelt thanks from this artist...
