Mr. Beast is in it? This is like The Producers or something. It's like they want it to fail.Mr Beast, Elon Musk, and Jared Leto.
What a crew.
He's not, I think it was from an MNF cross promo.Mr. Beast is in it? This is like The Producers or something. It's like they want it to fail.
Weird he would do this when Elon is involved. He's trying to come out as anti-AI now. He's not, I think it was from an MNF cross promo.
Probably cause the AI he made keeps calling him a facistWeird he would do this when Elon is involved. He's trying to come out as anti-AI now.
Meanwhile the knowledgeable folks...$50M is like double what I would have guessed its opening weekend box office would be.
I'm a big fan of Legacy. But I also think it isn't a good movie, so I fear a lot of retro reviews would be full of nostalgia.I imagine with time, Ares will go down a little more. I think Tron Legacy has aged pretty well, and should get re-examined
It depends on what you define as a good movie. Tron Legacy from a stylistic and visual standpoint is awesome. From a script standpoint, it has many issues. I am usually a story comes first guy, which is why I wouldn't call Tron Legacy a GREAT movie. But I think it is a GOOD movieI'm a big fan of Legacy. That's why for movies older than say 2000, I never use RTI mean. Even the Tron score isn’t correct cause contemporary reviews are mixed in. I’d be more curious to see what it would be with only its 1982 reviews.
They're all contemporary. The oldest on RT is from 2000.I mean. Even the Tron score isn’t correct cause contemporary reviews are mixed in. I’d be more curious to see what it would be with only its 1982 reviews.
For me, characters always come first. The movie has no characters. Even Qurroa, by far the most memorable part of the film imo, is a wisp of a character. It depends on what you define as a good movie. Closer to the movie then us.They're all contemporary. The oldest on RT is from 2000.
No one saw Tron until 2000.They're all contemporary. The oldest on RT is from 2000.
Like I said, I agree with you from that standpoint. I just think the visual elements are so good that I think it overcomes that and makes it a good movie IMO. I also looks even better than a lot of contemporary films now by a mile, excluding Jeff Bridges deaging effects. The script has been a weak element for both prior Tron films, and reviews would indicate that applies here as well to AresFor me, characters always come first. The movie has no characters.
