lol funny when it was disney that made the first one.

yupthere is rumor/article over at slash film i saw last night saying there is a chance that we will be getting a new trailer with avator.
exactly.I think Echostations saying that he fears people wont be able to tell the difference between Avatar and Tron (?)
I personally dont share that fear. I mean, c'mon, theyr'e like chalk and cheese. One is easily discernable from the other.

Is it wrong that I'm actually looking forward to seeing Tron Legacy a helluva lot more than Avatar?
/QUOTE]why would it be wrong
the two movies look completely different. one is set on a jungle like planet. and the other one is in a futuristic cyber world .
of course some will like tron better then avatar.

Even though I know it's such a big deal, a part of me is meh about Avatar.
But a sequel to Tron?....................I mean, c'mon.
It's friggin' Tron!!!!!!!
It doesnt get much cooler than that.
There's your answer, DB. ^^^^
Avatar's seemingly being hyped by some as the movie thats going to revolutionise the why we look at movies from now on; people seem to have put it on this really high pedestal already - almost as if the movie is the 2nd coming or something, that all other movies are going to pale in comparison.
I'm finding that I've been pretty resistant to the hype so far; I'm gonna go see it this week at the local 3D IMAX, but I'm not going to raise my expentacy level so high that I inevitably set myself up for a fall and come out of the cinema dissapointed. At this stage, I'm not exaclty what you'd call giddy with excitement to see it.
Yet I am about Tron Legacy.
Already.
