Cool and all, but I think i'd rather see the Big Lebowski II.
 
I want some damn other vehicles besides motorcycles in this film. Send a jet or two in for once.
 
there is to be other vehicles their is that light train thing, and probably others.
 
i have my fingers crossed for a light-horse-drawn-carriage, perhaps, for virtual gallivanting. :o
 
Okay, that had to be the most awesome trailer/clip I've seen in a LONG time. I'm absolutely stoked for this movie. All I can say is... WOW.

Well, everyone remembers the light cycles, so it makes sense for them to start there.

But didn't they say they were going to have light jets that would have walls like the cycles? Meaning you could have light walls in three dimensions instead of the classic 2-D grid.
 
Test footage looks, quite frankly, amazing.

And I love the music they've put over it - my Carpenter-esque.
 
Holy balls, that footage was fracking incredible. I was however, expecting some whoops when he jumped through the air, seen the crappy quality so many times.

There is going to be a highly focused, concentrated effort on bringing in uneducated viewers (ala Watchmen). All this stuff is for the fans, but the film will be largely aimed at the general viewer.

They don't want a repeat of the original Tron's BO gross.

I've been a die-hard Tron fan for years, this makes me so very happy.


I'm about to re-install Tron 2.0 and get the hype out of my system for a while. I wonder if there's anyone multiplayering still?

That was THE most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The Matrix has been usurped. AVATAR's so called but as yet unseen special 3D effects have met their match. I have no words to describe the sheer amount of awesome. I so regret missing the 80's.

In other news. I see that the Light-Cycles can now move dynamically. Clearly a result of the huge advancements in computer technology. Nice touch.

the effects that you see in the concept teaser can IMO be done on a home computer.
belive me in the finished movie it will be 10 times more complex.

we saw nothing from pixar.
