Yeah, it looks like from the tone he supposedly wants to roll with it'll be either a hard PG or like a light PG-13 like the National Treasure/POTC flicks. The Happy Meal toys for this are gonna look cool than a mother****er.

You're paying for 3D tickets because that's exactly what you're getting. I don't think there's a specific mandate for how prevalent the tech is in the movie. But one would assume for a film like this, it'd be featured very prominently. No need to worry.
i will not comaplain but it is interesting.

everytime a director is saying that they didnt make the movie with the rating in mind he is 100% lying. not 90% but 100%.
the movie will have the exact rating that Disney demanded 1 day before filming started. so i dont understand why he just can not say the rating.

i am not expecting intense action scenes. but PG13 should be the standard with those expensive movies.

anybody have any more info on how Kevin Flynn gets sucked back into the computer world and why he is missing?

Is it something to do with artificial intelligence locking him in the computer world again?

I'm seeing lots of posters and images everywhere, but I mean, what's the deal? Why aren't they showing more? I get being secretive, but let's remember something.

Tron bombed in the 1980's. I mean it was quite revolutionary for the time and it developed a huge cult status, but I mean, it bombed. So . . . don't they want people to see this movie? They got to let people know what it's about. They can't buck on nostalgia this much.

Trust me, once we get nearer to release date, Disney is going to go all out with this one.

There is a reason why they are spending big bucks making a sequel to this movie.

That lightcycle is just pure beauty.

I can't wait for the trailer to come out.

PS, Joseph Kosinki sounds like a great guy!
A director with the guts to try something different. I like how he went and got Daft Punk to do the music.

Finally some proper electronic music again in Hollywood.

yea everything sounds good so far for the film. i too cant wait to when disney kickstarts the promotions more for the film.

do i think that its a good idea that the 3D will be when they are in the tron world? its an interesting approach.the problem is that i will pay a 3D ticket. so if the whole movie is not in 3D then why should i pay the whole 3D ticket?

it looks like this could be a problem.

I'm sure 90 percent of the movie is in Tronland or whatever it's called.

At this juncture, we just know that he suddenly went missing one day years ago. I'd imagine the cicumstances surrounding his dissappearance are a plot point.

It's going to be interesting to see whether it was voluntary or involuntary; although theres been all kinds of rumours [nothing verified].

that is just stupid childish logic. Should we introduce a price scale determined by the percentage of 3D time? We are long gone from the days where it's just a scene or two in 3D.

and regardless, a 3D ticket, typically, is only $3 more than a regular ticket. Not that hard of a decision and fair considering glasses, projection maintenance and upkeep, etc costs.

I noticed that Disney is rereleasing the animated Alice in Wonderland on DVD to coincide with the new movie by Tim Burton. Hopefully they do the same with Tron in december.

Blue shining characters, please watch out and be afraid... promote this film for less confusion so that people will be aware of it, despite the fact that the prequel bombed big time... Just please in ilahi wah rehmatullah's name, advertise this film as it has two things going against it... the bright blue color CG scheme which will be confused with Avatar rip off film with no Sam Worthington and that the prequel bombed...

Ugh not this **** again...

If you are trolling or doing some type of Avatard parody you are doing extremely well.

I actually think Echostations joking around now; I mean, no one in the history of the internet can really be as dense.
