I love their dedication to build a time machine and get a younger Jeff Bridges.

That one shot of young bridges (thanks to CGI) is nothing short of amazing.

With Daft Punk doing the soundtrack it should be excellent.

The music in the trailer might be Daft Punk at their finest. Their is such a refined tone to it that it will work perfectly for the movie.

Disney might have a real winner with this movie.

Benjamin Button was realistic. if almost everyone from the general public praises the effects or even thinks that its an actor then the effects worked.
of course we on the forum were reading for 1 year how Fincher was using a CGI face for Brad Pitt. its different with us.

will the whole Bridges be CGI or only the face? are they doing a face replacment?

Looks like Digital Domain might even outdo their work from Benjamin Button on this one.

Benjamin Button was pretty realistic but "completely realistic" it was not, which is what I wrote.

But hey, its still to early to say if they accomplished complete realism when it comes to CGI humans but if that one shot of Bridges or the entire trailer in general shows quality and was consistent all throughout. Hopefully we can say the same about the movie when its released.

yea the young jeff looked great, i wonder if they had jeff play the role too and cgi the younger face. or just had some body double/stunt actor play the body, and they just cgi jeff's younger face and his voice added in. Also did any one check out slashfilm they have some great HD pics up from the trailer.

i expect fantastic effects. but this shot of Bridges is not a good example. there is no movement and its very fast. but its the same CGI company like for Benjamin Button Digital Domain. so i expect perfection.

seriously, it makes the stupid X3 and Wolverine 'de-aging' effects look like Gumby. (nothing wrong Gumby mind you!)

Saw this earlier. Blew my pants off in the best way. Effects look amazing.The music was great. The last part sounded like a corrupted digital audio file. Awesome. Great to see the trailers for Iron Man 2 and then this in the same week. Wish I could have seen this trailer in 3D, but I don't want to watch Alice. Designs for this look amazing. Simple. Not overdone. But still a little creepy. Great vibe overall.
