Tron Legacy is way more than eye candy!tThough it certainly is that too). Star Wars fans and fans of the Matrix should love this film. It is a thought provoking movie. Humans are the gods of technology...perfection is found in the imperfection of the natural world...life finds a way in the bodies of machines...technology is humanities miracle and also its destroyer because it replaces thought with formula...
Let's hear some thoughts about this film! I think they pose important questions that our generation and future generations will have to face. Here are some kick-starter questions:
What thoughts were born out of your viewing of this great science fiction film? Are there scientific theories you saw playing out in the film? Does anyone think technology could ever become conscious? Are humans gods because they can create these worlds that function almost entirely on their own? What were some of your favorite scenes from the movie? What would you like to have seen different about the film? How would you rank it among science fiction films?
Comment on anything you want here about the film. Critic it, argue interpretations, dream of sequels, whatever you want! This is a thread dedicated to discussion of a movie that surprised us all with having as much visual splendor as the Transformer films and way more substance!
