Edit: I found a solution

Firefox isn't letting me download video pages anymore, specifically those from Youtube.

When I try to get a video, the Download management screen pops up and it appears to start to download, but then after two seconds, it says that the .flv file is downloaded to the Desktop, but it hasn't.

Why does this happen?

It is a holiday tnc, give it time. I had problems with it too. Screwed up my java so bad I had to go back to the older FF version

Hmmm, I thought about doing something like that...I'm afraid of losing all of my bookmarks..

You can save them you know

I make a habit of saving all my boolmarks as a habit, been a few times FF crashed and I lost them before :(

How do I save them? I mean, I have a general idea how, but I'm still asking. :D

I go to program and saved the whole FF on a memory stick, saves all my bookmarks and I have a back up if my FF crashes

Bookmarks>Organize Bookmarks>File>Export

I downgraded to 2.0.4 because 2.0.6 was giving me all sorts of fits with finishing page loads. I'd have to reload a page four or five times to get it to fully load a page. Apparently there are many others who have had page load issues (which yours sounds like it might be, or at least it's a related problem) and the general fix is to go back to 2.0.4.

How do I downgrade per se? Do I totally remove the version I have now and download 2.0.4. from Mozilla?

Ok...I'll give it a shot in a few minutes!

I found a solution.

I downloaded the DownloadHelper Add-On and now it's working.
