You'd think that after burning every bridge he had in Hollywood and then directing that horrendous Boondock Saints 2 movie, Troy Duffy would have retreated to the countryside of Nevada to spend the rest of his days woodworking or something, but NOPE, this is one guy that just doesn't know when to throw in the towel. Apparently Duffy thinks that there's still an audience out there for what I presume to be a Boondock prequel show. And who knows? Maybe he's right. I mean, we got prequel shows of Taken and MacGuyver for f*** sake. And as a fan of the original film, there could perhaps be an interesting backstory to the MacManus brothers and their enigmatic father. Then again, I also thought a sequel to Boondock could have been worthy, but Troy totally screwed the pooch on that one so I don't have a lot of faith in this.

Also, poor Rocco. He looks rough. Did he actually die?

Who the **** asked for this?

Troy Duffy asked for this. If he lives to be 100, he'll still be planning the next installment in the BS franchise. Rocco and Sean Patrick Flannery probably will too; it's not like they're doing anything else.

Are people THAT ignorant to the Boondock Saints fandom? Have you seen these people sign at a convention? Lines around the corner.

Really? They have their own conventions? I'm not being a smartass I've just never heard of this before.

Regardless, very few people saw the last movie and most that did agree that it sucked so the fanbase can't be THAT big.

Wow, you really don't do any conventions, I guess. Saying Boondock Saints doesn't have a large following is like saying no one knows about Evil Dead.

I'll be honest, I genuinely thought Duffy lost a lot of fans after the documentary Overnight showed him with a bunch of Nazi paraphernalia.

There's no such thing as a Boondock Saints convention. The creator and actors have made plenty of appearances at conventions but there's no one convention dedicated only to Boondock Saints.
