Batman Begins Tumbler on the roof

I don't get it, what does this have to do with Nolan, and why is it an issue for you with BB?

Remember the Tumbler driving over a church roof? Just not even plausible.

Not any less plausible than anything else in the movie.

What next: Batman can't glide even with a cape?

Who cares if it wasn't 100% realistic, thats what films are for. We don't go to the movies to be stunned by amazing feats of realism. Especially when it comes to films like this.

Don't need to sell me on that point. ;)

I don't see the point of this discussion... it's not realistic (who cares), but still is entertaining...

You're absolutely correct! What the hell was Nolan thinking? Batman is clearly a realistic figure!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go jump off of skyscrapers, with this cape that turns into a glider.....

Not blindly defending BB, but that car CRASHED fullfronted on the side of the house, it didn't LAND on it's roof. So your 'evidence' is of no use 'proving' that the Tumbler couldn't do the stuff it did :hehe:

Maybe it was Batman's plan to crash right through the roof then hide out there until the cops pass, but when the tumbler failed to crash through the roof, he just decided to keep driving. Think about that! :cwink:

You guys kill me...guess your all too young to remember that Nolan was taking batman on a more realistic route?

Batman gliding is explained perfectly in the movie, the Tumbler is put on screen as a massive vehicle, crashing through concrete but no way a 100 year old church roof could sustain the weight off it. NOT EVEN IN THE UNIVERSE THAT NOLAN CREATED FOR THIS MOVIE.

Oh, lighten up. It seems totally realistic to me. It's not like Nolan had the Batmobile, say, run up the side of a building, defying the law of gravity or something. :cwink:

Next complaint: he isn't wearing grey lycra. ;) :D
