I'll come out, if you will.

Haven't read much about it, and don't want to. I want to have all the previous films and shows in mind, and go in with a bias attitude.
i have nothing to hide

Two movies I want to enjoy, but am expecting to throw a small child at the screen: XOW and T4.
indeed. i know the trailer was really good, and chris bale's in it, but at the end of the day it's still McG...the charlies angels guy. it's hard for me to get hyped for that

so yeah, i don't know how...but the dragonball movie is worse than i was anticipating.
How could it be possibly worse than any expectations right now? :funny:

Christian Bale AND Jonah Nolan. :yay: Those are really the only two things about T4 hyping me up.

My argument goes beyond that.

The series was great at T2. Why bother with a third, then to recreate, to "better" then franchise with a "reboot/re-imaging" of a fourth.

They should have, either, left it alone or went straight from T2 to Salvation.

My statement, upon seeing T3, sums it up: "Ultimately, we knew Skynet would take over. Why did we need a movie showing us what we knew would happen?"

T3 was pointless, and now T4 - which should, in theory, be great - is trying to make up for that failure.

Bale can't save every franchise. What's next, Bale as John McClain?

i don't see it as a reboot or a re-imagining, just telling us what's been going on in the future. we haven't REALLY seen that in the series yet.

True. But I feel it's trying to revive, if you will.

Why revive?

Well the series knew of this, back when T1 came out. We could have had this. But because of T3, I feel they are trying to clean up a mistake.

T3 should have been Salvation - then END OF series. Trilogy, boxset, sell that ****.

why revive? because franchise=$. and no one says you have to count t3 in continuity, it seems that some of what was presented in that will be present in salvation, but you won't need to have seen t3 to get this one. if you like it then there's no reason YOUR terminator trilogy can't just be t1,t2, and salvation
