Seen a few episodes. Its sweet and safe, and nancy drew'ish... not much else to hook me. And if its the best show ever then TV should just give up.

I've heard it's good from numerous sources, but something about it just makes me despise it. I've even tried to watch an episode, but Kristen Bell's perfect, model good looks make it hard for me to invest much in her character. I can't take stunningly gorgeous women on TV or in movies seriously as brainy types. It's a character flaw.

For some reason, I just can't get into the character. I don't know why. SHe just seems so god damned shallow.

I consider Lost as the Bud Light of TV, so not held in high regard in my mind. I would say Mar's mysteries are a few levels above Lost, but that ain't saying much. DH?

I'd go along with what the question says, in addition I find her extremely annoying. Plus none of the other characters are all that relatable or likable, in fact the show seems to put them in bad light on purpose to make them red herring suspects.

Yeah. I mean, from the episodes I've seen, Veronica is a horribly cynical *****. She was fully willing to ruin the life of a girl she simply didn't like by revealing to the public that her father, a pro athlete, once cheated in a game, which of course would have ruined his career and sent both him and his daughter to the poor house pretty damned quick. She eventually decided against it, but the fact that it crossed her mind and she went through the steps to do it shows her *****yness.

I have to agree, the show would be better for the main character were actually likeable. I've watched the last two episodes of this season, and I just can't stand her!
