TV Forum, best forum on the Hype

Hey TV Forumers. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you. This is easily the best forum on the Hype. I've been having so much fun discussing Dexter as I catch up with people who've already watched it and it makes me realize what a great forum this is. It would be easy for people to be jerks and intentionally spoil it (Don't worry Mike, I know it was an accident), or make cracks about how I'm a newb...it would happen on probably any other section, but you guys are just great and a joy to moderate. We all come here and share our passions and discuss and debate civilly. I don't think I've ever handed out an infraction in here. So thank you guys, for being the best forum on the Hype.

Any how, rants aside, lets consider this the TV Forum lounge, every other forum has one, why not us?

It's my favorite forum here. There's something for everybody and since people tend to be a bit more obsessive about their favorite show than they do about their favorite movies(probably because shows tend to attract cult-ish fans while movies appeal to just about everybody in an more general sense), people post on here for YEARS if a show is good.

It's fun watching you go through the Dexter episodes Matt, reminds me of how I felt doing it a year ago.

I love the TV boards. I probably spend like 70% of my time on the hype in the TV forums.

I spend a lot of my time in the Lost thread here Once Sunny starts back up, I will be there too. I spent a ton of time in the Heroes forums but that show sucks now so more time for Lost!

This forum and Misc films are really the only 2 i post in anymore.

Shows i watch are Prison break, 24, southpark, fringe, heroes and terminator (when it was on) I used to watch lost but stopped half way into the 2nd series i think i will buy that show on dvd when the prices drop

Shows that I watch currently on television are Chuck, Heroes, Wrestling programs, House, Law & Order: SVU, Lie to Me, and Scrubs.

I've started watching 24 but I'm avoiding the thread since I'm only on season three. Please don't spoil me.

The TV Forum will not be the best forum on the hype until Lost gets its own section. Until then & only then will the TV Forum be the best one on the Hype right now its just okay & while we are at it do one for Chuck & 24 & then this wil be the most amazing forum of all time

This is probably the area I'm in the most, cuz I'm always a$$ing about watching tv.

And in just about every scenario in life, you can reference the Simpsons. It's just that good.

After the Smallville forum, this is definitely my favorite forum of the Hype. I usually participate in the The Office, Lost, Dexter, Chuck, and sometimes Supernatural threads. I definitely look forward to discussing the shows with you guys. Oh and I've heard good things about The Wire so I really want to pick up the first season dvd and also for Rome.

I'm currently watching: Dollhouse, Heroes, Lost, Smallville, 30 Rock, My name is Earl, Making the band, BSG, Family Guy, AMerican Dad, DAisy of Love, Tough Love, The simpsons, 24, American Idol, RR/RR Challenge, South Park, Real Time with Bill Maher, Wolverine and the x-men, Batman the brave and the bold, and probably a few more.

I would maybe look for Season 1 of The Wire first and see if you like it. It's honestly my favorite series ever. One of the best characters ever in Omar, plus other great performances from underrated actors like Idris Elba, Wood Harris, and Clark Peters.

yeah they are expensive. I think I saw the entire series box set for The Wire for around $130. Rome was going for around $80-90.

I would love to get seasons of NCIS and 24, but they are really expensive!
