Oh. And speaking of afters, I really want to see an After the End type television show that takes place after the apocalypse. And of course, not like Jericho, WAY after the apocalypse.

CELEBRITY MANTRACKER

This is essentially Mantracker except the prey are all celebrities (actors, musicians, athletes, etc). Likely they would only ever get D-List celebrities from The Surreal Life. People like Vanilla Ice, Chyna, Mary Carey, etc. Though it would be cool if they could get the occassional B-Lister. Maybe Dog the Bounty Hunter and one of his crew on one episode (Mantracker vs Bountyhunter). Or David Copperfield and Chris Angel on another episode (Mantracker vs Masters Of Illusion). Lots of possibilities.

Almost. But not really. Mad Max was a little before the apocalypse, and its sequels were right after it.

I'm talking more about a series just set long after the event that destroys our way of life (doesn't have to be nuclear weapons). Where it follows the survivors. Preferably not set in the desert like everyone thinks the world will be when we're not taking care of it.

More Children of Men and less Road Warrior.

I feel Max Payne was a really good movie and should of gotten better reviews then what it did. But a television show on HBO or NBC be great. Alot of things they could do with a Max Payne television show.

I have a show in mind. It's based off an episode of Torchwood.
Alien sleeper agents are sent to earth to start an invasion, and one of the agents goes rogue and is the only one that can stop it. The whole first season would be about the sleepers, until the invasion starts at the end of the season.

Speedy. I like the idea... but I just want to bring up a potentially really close version of the show you're talking about, First Wave. Granted, it was about a human trying to stop those alien sleeper agents, but he was sorta friends with one of the agents that wanted to help.

But as long as it is different enough than that. I'd watch it.
