Two Customs I want to do...and actually see through.

Okay...So As you may or may not know....I've recenly gotten the three Monty Python and the Holy Grail Action figues that Diamond put out back in 2001 or so.

Sir Bedevere, Sir Robin and King Arthur....No Two knighter were not made..(They were planned for wave two)

Here are all five (Robin has his Mail up)...But Lancelot and Gallahad....now if you look they all pretty much the same body.....

And a Comic Store near here has two More Sir Robin Figures for cheap....That posesa problem....Not sure if you noticed but Sir Robin there has a Shield that is twice as big as everyone elses....I was thinking I could contact that Spider guy in Winnipeg and send him a shield from Arthur or Bedevere and get him to mold it and cast me two more.....Or I could dut down the EXtra Robin ones....But castng is likely better....

The Second Problem is the heads...Now I am not gonna be really picky on the faces....but the hair is still an issue....Lancelot should be decent...I can just peel off Robins hair and Smooth down the mutache and repaint then find soemthing for Chain Mail o put over his hear....Galahd might be harder.....and I can't sculpt.

Anyway...That's what I want to do.....

Actually... I was thinking of using one of the FF movie(1st movie) Thing, (the one with sounds when one arm moves), to make Hulks new buddy Korg.... What do you think of that?

I think his shield is supposed to be that big compared to the others. He's a chicken, so he'll have a bigger shield to protect him.

Duh......in the movie his shield was twice as bog too.....Iwasn't asking why...I was just saying that Robin will be the base body, but I need a smaller shield.


And I don't think I'll be using a lot of Apoxy...

I say get in touch with Black Arachnis either through the site or at fwoosh. I don't see why he'd have a problem with casting it for you. I had some casts made from the head of my Cult Classics Patrick Bateman (I wanna make a fig of him from Equilibrium) and in return he asked for a few bucks and for him to be able to sell it on his site since he'd be keeping the molds. I figured why the hell not, a few bucks and let him sell them sounded great to me considering he was doing all the work. I say take some good pics of the shield you want casted so he can see what you want so he can tell you if he thinks he can cast it. Worst case scenario is he says no. Also, not sure if you've seen it but in the TNA wrestling figure series made by ToyBiz there' a Scott Steiner (Big Poppa Pump) figure out and in case you didn't know he wears a chainmail headpiece as part of his entrance gear. Well, his figure comes with a rubbery mock chainmail headpiece, here's a link to a pic:

Not sure if it'll work for you but its the only one I can think of. Maybe some LOTR figs have chainmail headpieces. Ask Saint, he's the LOTR fig buff around here.
