I have, what many people consider a good problem.

I like two extremely attractive and wondeful girls (one at my school and one a friend of my friends),I went out with one of them yesterday to brighton beach (only us two)- nothing happened. And i wanted something to happen, but im unsure of her intentions. I have been informed by many friends at school that this first girl (the brighton one- whom we shall call Coffee) liked me ages ago, but im not too sure now.

The second girl (we shall call her Tea) i met at an 18th party a week ago. needless to say, she was quite merry (tipsy, not DRUNK- still coherent). and well, being the gentleman that i am...walked her home. We've been talking online ever since. My good friends say that she wants to get together with me.

I don't know who to choose. I know the coffee girl so much better...but im unsure where i stand. But on the other hand, this tea girl is uber hawt...and i'd like to get to know her a bit better.

If this makes any sense.

Help?

You already know Coffee, so get to know Tea. That way you'll know for sure which you'd prefer to be with.

I'd also straight up ask Coffee what she wants from you. Remain as friends or possible partner. If she says friends then your choice is obvious.

Frakkk that....have you not learned from Lord Archie.....play them both

Get a grip and make your own decision. You know the situation, you know both of the people involved, and only you can judge your compatibility with either girl. Ask yourself what, or rather who you want, figure it out, and go from there.

Yeah 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ...etc. dates doesn't make a girl your girlfriend. Date them both til you find out which one you like better. The other one doesn't need to know. Of course dating 2 girls does hit the wallet a lil harder.

I hate coffee and I hate tea.

I'm more of a milk kinda guy.

Pictures would be nice.

Post of pictures of random people online who closely resembles the girl you're talking about. If you can this, I (we) will already know who to choose. Thanks.

Pick the one with bigger boobs, duh.

Was I just a preternaturally super-genius rugged individualist when I was a teenager or is the internet sapping character and smarts from the kids of today or what?
Getting depressing.

I suppose being a super-genius doesn't entail having a sense of humor.

Bang em both.

When I think back to high school my only regret was not banging every chick humanly possible. Never do I think to myself, "I wish I had more long-term relatioships".

Trust me on this.

I blame a "twinkie free diet", Manga Cartoons, trying to reason with children as if they were adults and "Everybody Wins" themed sports.

but really- i think its like the sociological equivalent of what started happening in the arts the past few years. Greater access to culture made artists more self-aware and art more self-reflexive. It made it harder for artists to simply strike out on their own, as everything would be judged as dereivative of x, y, or z, so instead they started proactively making art that referenced the culture that had already been criticzied and "placed".

Through myspace, facebook, and the avalanche of teen blogs, these kids have acccess to the inner lives of fellow teenagers all over the world. no one wants to make a mistake because no one knows how well schooled the rest of the teens around them are. the stakes are raised.

Gotta be the anonymous nature of the internet.
Like, you'd feel things like this, harbor confusion and angst, but there was no way in hell you'd sit there across from your friends, face-to-face, in a room and ask this stuff 'cause they call you a "f**" and start giving you monkey bumps, I guess...I hope.

Do people not date anymore?

There's no reason you can't go out on dates with both of them and see where things go. I don't see why you feel you need to decide between them at this point? Just make sure they know it's a 'date', not 'just hanging out'.

i totally feel ya on this. I'm 26 and even my friends who are girls are like, "this boy and i went out on a first date and i found out he went out on another date with another girl."

i dont get it.

in any event....go for tea. you dont know her at all, its fun meeting new people. if coffee does like you, itll make her jealous, and theres nothing more fun than a jealous girl.
