Here are two select scenes from my short film Fallen, currently in post-production. The film is about a superhero named Ephraim who has turned his back on the city he swore to protect.

Plot synopsis:
"Fallen" follows the story of beloved hero Ephraim (Brian Kavanaugh) who has been the savior of his city for a very long time. However, when chaos reigns over his city, Ephraim crumbles over the pressure to help his citizens and becomes unsure of his capabilities as a hero.
Ephraim encounters different aspects of the city's scared population. Joe (Errol McLendon), a police officer trying to singlehandedly reign in the chaos, tries everything in his power to convince Ephraim that this city needs him. A young boy (Harrison Boxley), who cowers and hides amongst the destruction, lonely and scared, looking for a hero to save him. And The Vigilante (Andrew Staton), a regular citizen who has decided to take matters into his own hands while Ephraim sits and does nothing.
"Fallen" shows how even omnipotent individuals such as heroes face conflicts within themselves. Ephraim might have enormous powers of strength, but even all the physical power in the world can't ease the emotional pain he suffers, especially from a woman named Bethany (Heather Tyler), who may or may not be the villain pulling the strings of chaos and the strings of Ephraim's emotions.
Action-packed, emotionally charged and driven by complex characters and an expansive story, "Fallen" explores the inner frailties of even the strongest people and shows that sometimes your strength does not come from without, but sometimes it comes from within.
