I just watched The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and it has convinced me that a successful and well made adaptation of Phillip K. Dick's Ubik could be made. The way that things in Jim Carrey's mind were reverting and dissapearing and disentigrating and some of the concepts of the company wiping your mind and other aspects reminded me so much of PKD's work Ubik in particular.
I had heard that there was an adaptation of Ubik floating around. Hell theres even been a script for it written by Phillip K. Dick himself for decades.
Has anyone heard any new news about a possible production of Ubik in the near future?
