Ok, I'm slightly confused.

I just beat UA on wii. I'd like to play it again on Normal, but when i start a new game, I'm back to the old level one characters. I have all of my unlocked doodads like costumes, but none of the power upgrades.

Any way i can get my upgrades back?

i've actually had this exact same problem.

i completed it, saved, unlocked Fury, then it took me back to dooms castle when i was done.

re-started the game, to start again on hard with my leved up heroes, and found that the upgrades never went though. gutted.

then i loaded up my old game to find i was back at the in-humans home, at the start of the chapter.

you have to save the game at the end (there's an extraction point in the final fight room when they take you back) to re-start with the settings that you ended with

the only thing it saves automatically at the end is the unlocking of nick fury

do you have a saved game from just before the end of the game? when you select "start new game" and it asks you if you want to use existing settings, select that, and then choose your most recent saved game

i'm actually not sure if that works if you want to start on normal... that's how it works when you re-start on hard mode.

Wait, so you can't keep levels no matter what? That's ridiculous. I beat it when I rented it and I was going to buy it to replay it, but if you can't keep you levels it's too much effort and I don't even want to bother.

no; i had no problems starting a new game with my levelled-up characters. you can use your stats from any previously saved game.

i enabled the god, superspeed, and touch of death cheats. I'll play through normal with them on to unlock hard. Then upon unlocking it, i'm gonna select my easy mode characters.

the hard mode default setting starts everyone at level 30, so if your easy mode characters aren't that high, i'd suggest just starting with the default

So how do you start a new file with levelled up characters? I went to "Begin New Game" and they were at level one, and it didn't ask me if I wanted to use the existing settings.

I could do this on X-Men Legends, but I can't figure it out on this.
