Did anyone else catch it tonight? Another GREAT finale. If you don't want anything ruined don't read any further...

Once again 3 contracts were given out which was good in my opinion since I believe Ed was screwed out of a win. Don't get me wrong, I was going for Kendall, but he tapped out and the ref didn't see it.

The Jardine fight was also a good one. I thought at the beginning of the fight he had it lost but he stayed in there and came out with the win.

I have to give it up for Haynes, cause he NEVER gives up. He might of lost the fight, but in my opinion he deserves a contract also. The last two fights he has been in he was very close to being submitted, but he never gave up and always seemed to get out of it. I felt kinda bad for him, because he wanted it so bad, but he just couldn't take anymore hits tonight.

The main fight sucked, simple as that. It was very quick. It seems like the main events are always the worst????

Of the other five fights that night they only aired the Forbes/Hamill fight. From what I've seen Jessie doesn't need to be in the UFC. He has lost every fight I've seen him in. If I lost 3 matches in a row and it was the first 3 televised fights of mine, I'd probably just give it up lol.

I didn't see the other fights but here are the winners...

Ross Pointon Vs. Rory Singer(winner)
Danny Abbadi Vs. Kalib Starnes(winner)
Luigi Fioravanti(winner) Vs. Solomon Hutcherson--I hate this guy, i'm glad he got KO'd
Wes Combs Vs. Mike Nickels(winner)

Dang, I missed it, but I am glad Kendall got a contract.
He was my favorite out of the house.

Yeah he was th eone I was going for, but Ed seemed to show a lot more skill and actually had Kendall submitted, but the ref didn't see the quick tapout. I HATED Ed the whole season, but seeing him in this fight made him gain a whole lot more of my respect. I just hate cocky fighters.

Ed was cocky, but I liked him.
I also liked him because he was the only good one left on Shamrock's team.

Ultimate Fight Night is Wed and then the Bitter Rivals is right around the corner. I can't wait. I wanna see Bonnar destroy Evans. Evans is another cocky fighter. I also get to see one of my new favs Cummo fight again.

Thanks for the edit Drakon. I forgot I could do that lol.

I loved this finale. I didn't get home from work last night until after 3, but I satyed up and watched it anyway (I had it on the dvr). Those first two fights were great. I love watching people land good leg kicks, and that first fight had tons of them. Kendall vs Ed was a good, tough fight. I love Michael Bisping. It was great to see his win. I've never been a fan of Josh. I think he fights really sloppy, and he kept that up here against Bisping. Bisping just really gave it to him. There were seriously a lot of moments that I laughed out loud in the fight. As far as the main event goes, I can't wait for this 155 weight class to really take off. Kenny Florian is going to be a beast. It was good to see Matt win. His stand-up has really improved. I think he's still not 100% ready for the octogon, but damn, once he gets some submissions, he is going to be a beast like Tito says. I mean, he already has wrestling and now boxing. He just needs to work on his ground game and he's gonna be a monster. I'm really upset about Ross losing again. I love that guy.

Im still waiting for season 2 on dvd :(

I can't wait to see the tito/kenny grudge remake on the next ppv.

Guess I'm one of the few people pissed Ed won. Seriously,If I was Kendal I'd be pissed to know that I gave it all I got and when I win....they gave it to the loser. Bull****.:down

Hell yes. Shamrock is gonna be Tito's *****

Ultimate Fighter season 4 has something to do with comebacks. Do you think they will let a lot of the former fighters that didn't win get another chance. I hope thats not what they are doing....

I don't like Tito, way too cocky...it was funny as hell when Chuck owned him after months of Tito ducking.

That said, I think shamrock's just too old for the fight game at this point.

Idk why, but something in me really liked Shamrock.
I didnt like Tito that much and I got mad when his players beat out most of Shamrocks.

Never thought about that.
True. I would've been pissed, also.

I loved the finale. Bisping won, and that alone made the show for me. Haynes is a tough bastard, though.

I'm glad Kendall won, and I don't think Ed should've gotten a contract.

Hamill has the potential to be great with more training. I look forward to seeing more of him.

Shamrock is gonna get his ass beat again, and I can't wait to see it.

I'm not as into UFC as others, but I enjoyed this finale over the last one. The fight between Kendall and Ed was the highlight of the evening, although it should not have resulted in 2 contracts.

Overall the evening was good.

Looking forward to the show on Wednesday.

And I want Shamrock to win, but he's going to get killed in there with Ortiz.

TUF 4 is going to have current UFC fighters competing over a shot for the title in their weightclass.

I missed the entire season, I kept forgetting it was on.

I'm not sure if I like this idea or not. I like to see some new faces. I feel like it would just be an ordinary episode of unleashed or something. Now I'd really like to see some of the new guys go up against the pro's.

Here is the mention of next season...

“The Ultimate Fighter: The Comeback” is set to debut Thursday, Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. on Spike. The fourth season will focus on fighters whose dream of winning a UFC title have never come true. The 16 former UFC fighters - eight middleweights and eight welterweights - are already gathered in Las Vegas for production of the series, which begain yesterday. Added to the drama of these guys all living in one house is the fact that some of them are former rivals, bringing revenge and redemption into the equation. The winning middleweight and welterweight will earn title fights and a six-figure cash prize.

“The Ultimate Fighter 4 is the comeback season and it’s going to be the most exciting yet,” said UFC president Dana White. ‘Everyone knows these fighters, but it’s going to be a totally different show and we’re pumped to get started on it.” Instead of coaches for the two teams, prominent UFC personalities will serve as advisors and counsels for the 16 fighters. They include Randy Couture, Georges St. Pierre and Mark Delagrati.

How are we going to understand St. Pierre, ugh

Looks like a good card. I haven't seen Chris Leben fight in a while. Should be good.

Is there a specific type of martial arts that does better in these fights? I've only seen a couple of fights, but I don't know what type of training the fighters have had.
