ha, ultimate magneto bust into the triskelon and took on all the ultimates by himself, kept the majority busy while he shot his own son in the knee caps, planned the x-men's downfall in that arc and also broke back into the triskelon to chat to xavier while all being undetected.

just from the ultimate war arc alone, ultimate magneto would dump in movie magneto's face and still get xmas card from him...

I think Movie Magneto has more limits (not power, just morals) and Ultimate Magneto has shown that he does not care for limits (he crippled Xavier, something Movie Mags would never do).

So in the end Ultimate Magneto would come out on top...

Though it would seem this is true based off his character, the reason for Xaviers paralysis is yet undetermined so it is possible. Especially considering the many influences taken from the Ultimate comics so far.

Ultimate Magneto has also shown himself to be fare more powerful in what he can pull off in my opinion.

Ultimate Magneto stripped President Bush's clothes completely off on the White House lawn and made him lick his boots clean on national television. He also held twenty to thirty 100ft Sentinels stationary in mid-air while he reprogrammed them to attack Washington. That was all in the first 6 issues of Ultimate X-Men. Movie Mags is pretty damn cool, but he's nowhere near as ruthless or powerful as Ultimate Magneto.
