Didn't see a thread for this when I searched, so I figured I'd start one.

A friend of mine just told me about this show and I spent a little while getting caught up on it. It's really, really good. Anyone else watch it?

I watch it and its a great show. Glad that were picked up for a 2nd season.

I think what I like most about the show is that, at its core, it's about family. Tara and Max are both admirable parents and spouses. Max obviously has to deal with a ton from Tara's personalities, but the thought to just cut and run never even occurs to him. It's rare to see that kind of familial dedication these days. And all of Tara's personalities care about the family--Buck beat the s*** out of Ben for Kate, T is friends with Kate and apologized after hurting Marshall's feelings, etc.

I saw the pilot online and I loved it. Toni Collete is amazing! It was a real interesting concept. My favorite personality was T.


I hate the daughter by the way.

The daughter's grown on me. She's ****ty and often annoying, but she's not as much of a b**** as I thought initially. She's just a little f***ed up (and, obviously, for good reason).

I absolutely love this show its just so well written and its hilarious. I bout **** when i saw the truck nuts lmao and now i want some on my firebird. And yea Buck is easily my fav hes just awesome i GOT SUPER POWERS *****ES!!!

This show hasn't aired in the UK yet, but purely out of love for Toni Collete I have been watching it online (up to episode 10 now) and I gotta say the show is brilliant, I love the way that the entire family is a freakshow, but at the same time they are loving moreso than any real family I know.

Poor Marshall. Kate was right, though; the alters are unified by their love of the family, so T was probably acting on some subconscious desire Tara had to protect Marshall.

The Marshall went crazy and burnt down the fricking shed. None of the characters in this show are all that likeable any more.

Pretty understandable for Marshall to burn down the shed. He's got issues from growing up in the crazy-ass family he's got, yet he appears to be the most normal, quiet, sensible member of the family--so, of course, when he does finally snap, he does it big.

Oh I completely underdstand why the character did it, I just was kind of upset that they seem desperate to make all the characters d***s in their own special way.

I don't see any of them as *****, except maybe Kate. They've just got a lot of stuff to deal with and that inevitably leads to a lot of conflict, both internal and external. And, to contrast that, Charmaine has come around from being a total dick to being pretty likeable since she and Buck hung out after her surgery.

Don't get me wrong I'm not suddenly hating the characters, but they all seem to do pretty dickish things.

Tara - Blame the alters
Max - Where he is so horny he flirts with everything from Charmain to T
Kate - ****ing around her creepy manager
Marshall - Shed Burning
Charmaine - Not believing that DID is real

and so on.
