I thought it was lame. Any time you have a reasonably sleek and decent looking costume with some random tattery crap hung over it, it just screams "BAD IDEA FROM THE 90S".

yeah but a blue hoodie with a spider design in it kinda makes it stand out with regard to scarlet spidey.

he used some of his original spidey memorabilia to create his costume, at the time that means living off the rewards of his clone who had stolen his life.

It's like being forced to buy something second hand that you created but someone else got the fame for, like whoever designed the george forman grill.

it's all part of his rejected schtick
