Horror Until Dawn

Why do you say that? It finished filming in October. When they say "new story and characters" they mean compared to the game.

I never played the game but know the basics story. They will need a good but of CGI so I would just be surprised if they make April. No trailer yet either says a lot.

Maybe it will be delayed like you say, but it's still doable for April. I expect it to have a low budget and minimum use of CGI, and that's if they even follow the theme of the story. I also wouldn't be surprised at all if it's crap and they want to pay minimum marketing at the last minute.

This could well be the case. But Sony aren't great at judging what's crap or not at the same time.

That may be but there are still movies where they don't pay all that much for marketing. Their last Resident Evil film released a trailer six weeks before the film hit cinemas.

I wonder if they're crazy enough to implement the whole Butterfly Effect mechanic into the actual film. :funny:

To be fair RE was an established franchise which already had its fans. UD only had the game fans so if they want this to be successful and it's coming out in April they need to get a shift on with marketing.

I really like that they're making something new with this.

Oh my god... they're actually taking the Fallout approach. Good on em.

I think it's the correct route. I don't much care for 1:1 adaptations of games that were already too cinematic, minus the interactivity. I feel they lose a lot of the appeal. I'm much more interested in something like that.

So it definitely lives up to the concept of the game, but will the execution be good?

The only time I've heard someone named Clover was a little show called Totally Spies.

Coincidence? Absolutely!

Its like Happy Death Day meets Cabin in the woods.......with wendigos.

We later learn all these are scrapped horror scenarios Supermassive was experimenting with for future games. :o
