USA Network and Universal Cable Productions (UCP) announced today that the season seven finale of Suits, airing in the first quarter of 2018, will serve as a potential spinoff that would center around powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres).

No there was no muffling on the version I watched. The F word was muffled in previous weeks. But last week's episode also didn't muffle the F word either. It could be different for everyone though.

I've never seen Suits but the idea of a Gina Torres fronted series sounds pretty damn good.

I've come to dislike Mike. I get that he functions solely by following his morals, but Rachel is 100% right. He's dishonest and dishonorable. You would think his stay in prison would have provided some perspective and maturity, but he continues to function as an overly-entitled individual.

I understand that it's for drama's purposes, but it stretches the believability of the show to it's breaking point to think that this guy who spent YEARS lying and then WENT TO JAIL FOR IT would go back to lying indiscriminently to everyone, including those who have FREQUENTLY gone bat for him to save his @$$.

It's tough to get on board with his character when's he's this brazenly idiotic.

I have also disliked Mike since the beginning of the show for all the reason you stated. I disagree though about the believability of the show regarding Mike. It's Mike's nature to be the way he is and nothing is going to change that. It's like the old adage about leopards changing their spots.

I don't like that they turned the psychiatrist into a crazy woman with the whole tell Donna thing. This should not even be an issue and it seems contrived just to add drama and entangle Donna into the show. I thought this episode flowed really well without having Donna in it. Stephanie and Katrina were very good this episode.

I still consider Louis my favorite character since the start since he's basically the Daffy/Donald Duck of the office. Eventually the right thing is done but you see what's up under all that hostile crazy.

Something can be within your nature, but then logic can win out. I mean, he literally went to jail for lying, so the first thing he does when he gets out is lie some more? I get that it's possible, but man, it doesn't cast him in the best light.

I don't think the psychiatrist is crazy, I think she's acting like a normal woman. Nothing she's asking of Harvey is ridiculous.

It was good of Louis to apologise to a bunch of different people.

I've always liked Katrina. I wish that Amanda Schull were on this show instead of 12 Monkeys. I know she's the lead over there, but I prefer her character here. Although she seems less cheeky now and a bit more sensible.

The guy over at the clinic that Mike has been helping has been a bit of a wuss, and it's right that Mike told him to grow up and start acting like a man. It's not good that Mike has been lying though.

I do think that Paula the psychiatrist is acting reasonably to want Harvey to not keep the whole relationship secret. Although she could've been more understanding that Harvey wasn't able to do it that day as he did have all these other problems to take care of.

This week again, the mother ****er was muted out for me. I don't know why some weeks it is and some weeks it's completely clear. I know I'm not imagining it or mistaking it, because now it becomes something that you can instantly spot, especially when it's unmuted some weeks and muted in other weeks.

To be fair, she knows when Harvey is bs-ing and is calling him on it. It looks annoying but the truth is a good woman tends to do that.

A new report out says that Meghan Markle has told her bosses at "Suits" that she will not be returning to USA's hit show next season.
The source claims that she will wrap up finishing filming her role in the next month as season 7 winds down. Then there is much speculation that an engagement will reportedly be announced around the Christmas holiday.
"Meghan loved playing Rachel and feels she owes so much to 'Suits,'" the source explained. "But Harry can't move to Toronto, so she'll have to move eventually if they want to be together."
Rumors have circled the couple for months claiming that the happy couple actually got engaged in August, during Meghan's 36th birthday trip to Botswana. However, there's been speculation that they kept their news secret so as not to overshadow the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.

"Meghan knows she can't really act at the same time as being a princess and is happy to make this career sacrifice," the source told the Daily Star. "She really enjoys her charity work with Unicef and will broaden out her charity commitments when she becomes a full-time royal."
There is also news that the couple are already looking for their first home in the Cotswolds.
Meanwhile, another report claims that figuring out Meghan Markle's new role in the monarchy is already causing conflict within the palace as Queen Elizabeth eases up on some of her responsibilities to make way for the younger royals.

"I don't think there is a conflict behind the scenes as far as the main players -- the royals -- are concerned," Queen Elizabeth's former press secretary Dickie Arbiter. "But there probably is a conflict between the people who are organizing them. There's a tendency for people who join the royal households to get a bit of red carpet fever, feel a bit more important than they should do and don't get on with the job properly."
One thing's for sure: We cannot wait to hear the news about a new royal engagement!


Looks like there won't be anymore Mike and Rachel unless Suits recasts the role. Mike could rebound with Donna which would make Harvey jealous and cause tension between Mike and Harvey.t:

I lost interest in this after Mike got out of prison and didn't even bother with last season.

Well we've known this has been coming ever since she started dating Prince Harry.

What would be interesting to see is if she is ever portrayed in a negative light this season. It's unlikely she would want her character to be seen doing anything immoral. In fact, how many actual love scenes does she even have with Mike this season? I don't think they've even appeared in bed together either.

Maybe Rachel and Mike will decide they can't be together after all the wedding prep. I don't think they'll recast, because it was a high profile role with someone who may become the next princess. The new actress would always be compared to her. Would they kill her off or she just leaves?

Has Suits even been renewed for another season yet?

Suits': Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle Eye Exit Ahead of Likely Season 8

Some very big changes are coming for USA Network's Suits.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the NBCUniversal-owned cable network is close to a deal to renew its "Blue Skies" procedural for an eighth season as stars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle plot their exit from the Aaron Korsh-created series.

Reps for Adams, Markle, USA Network and producers Universal Cable Productions all declined comment.

Suits Spinoff Adds S.H.I.E.L.D. Alum Simon Kassianides as Series Regular


The Suits spinoff is still staffing up: Simon Kassianides (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) has joined the cast as a series regular.

Kassianides will play an enigmatic tough guy with connections to the mayor of Chicago, as well as the city’s top developer, according to our sister site Deadline. His character will be introduced in the upcoming Season 7 finale of Suits, which will serve as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff. Gina Torres is set to reprise her Suits role as attorney Jessica Pearson in the spinoff, which sees Jessica entering the world of Chicago politics.


The Suits spinoff, which is still untitled, isn’t guaranteed to make it to series, but it did add Rebecca Rittenhouse (The Mindy Project) and Morgan Spector (The Mist) to its cast last week.
