Even the best lawyer in New York City can use some help.

While running from a drug deal gone bad, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a brilliant young college-dropout, slips into a job interview with one of New York City's best legal closers, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). Tired of cookie-cutter law school grads, Harvey takes a gamble by hiring Mike on the spot after he recognizes his raw talent and photographic memory.

Mike and Harvey are a winning team. Even though Mike is a genius, he still has a lot to learn about law. And while Harvey may seem like an emotionless, cold-blooded shark, Mike's sympathy and concern for their cases and clients will help remind Harvey why he went into law in the first place. Mike's other allies in the office include the firm's best paralegal Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty) to help him serve justice.

Proving to be an irrepressible duo and invaluable to the practice, Mike and Harvey must keep their secret from everyone including managing partner Jessica (Gina Torres) and Harvey's arch nemesis Louis (Rick Hoffman), who seems intent on making Mike's life as difficult as possible.

Saw the promo during Raw, looks interesting, slightly more serious than USA's other output.

Suits - season 1 promo

I saw the promo the other day watching Covert Affairs and I'll definitely be checking this out.

The pilot was great. Macht was awesome. Oh and Batman reference at the end! :awesome:

This show is awesome.

The two male leads have good chemistry together. I really like how they could pass as brothers.

I was a little wary about Macht, but he makes this character soar.

:up: show. I'm excited about it.

The pilot was really entertaining and I hope it keeps up.

I can't believe this is the same guy from The Spirit.

Wow, just finished watching the pilot and it was great.

Was it really that good? It looked pretty dull to me. Maybe it's the title and how it's been promoted. But I might check it out if I get the chance.

I thought it would be another boring show about lawyers but I ended up really enjoying it. You have to at least see the pilot to make up your mind. Really, it's Macht and Adams that make the show enjoyable.

I agree, the two male leads are what make the show. But that's how it is supposed to be anyway isn't it? I really like Harvey Specter, he is such a smooth operator. I bet we will find out that he wasn't always so refined as he is now.

The savant, (I think his name is Mike) I can't remember his name because he used so many different names in the episode (lol) is also fun to watch.

I hope the law stories become more in depth and a challenge for the two guys and the paralegal.

The history between Harvey and his female boss is interesting. Apparantely he started out in the mailroom and she paid his way to Harvard. I hope they go more in depth with that.

I liked the pilot though I find it odd that someone with his talents hasn't managed to find a proper career.

Getting kicked out of college kind of black balled him from finding a normal career.

With a gift like that you don't need a college degree to have a normal career.

Wow.

USA has been hitting it out of the park with their character-driven shows lately. This one's going into my queue.

Just watched the pilot tonight, brilliant stuff, the two leads are great, the dialogue is snappy and sharp, there's humour, slickness and a bit of heart with promising support characters. One of the best pilots I've ever seen.

His dream was to be a lawyer and since that went to ****, he probably lost all motivation for anything other than doing the bare minimum to earn a living and smoke pot.

Hmm, yeah that works.

Great pilot. I got too many shows to keep up with. lol

Holy ****, a ****ing great pilot. This was MUCH better than I was expecting. The two leads are excellent. Both likeable in their own ways. Neal Caffrey may have competition with Harvey Spector as the coolest mother****er on television. Macht was awesome. This show was sharp as all hell. Some of the lawyer stuff went over my head, but the character stuff was so brilliant, and the dialogue only made it better.

A cracking show. Will be watching next week. I hope to God they keep making episodes of this quality.

And the Batman reference. And their going back and forth from Clamenza to the Batman actors until agreeing upon Keaton Spector is closest to made me :awesome: so damn much.

I liked them even more after that.

I swear you and Hush have the two greatest avatars on this site.

Interesting pilot. The two leads had good chemistry. Not keen on the inclusion of Rick Hoffman in the cast as his usual *****ebag self in the role of Louis Litt (does he play any other type of character)? Sure, he might be someone people love to hate, but that doesn't mean that I want to see him week after week.

I remember him from the movie Cellular. He played pretty much the same character. The name may have been different though.
