V for Vendetta is a better movie but Wonder Woman is more fun.
I like V much more. Hugo Weaving's V is way more interesting character.
Wonder Woman is pretty overrated even though I like it. It would’ve benefited from more mythological elements IMO. More gods and monsters. The first animated movie was closer to what I would like to see from a story POV. The Ares plot actually felt intentional there as opposed to tacked on.
V for Vendetta is a more important and better constructed movie. But I still like WW better as something to just put on for fun. VfV isn’t fun at all, it’s scary in the way it poses existential questions about our own society.
V is good. But the source material is leaps and bounds better than the film.
I choose Wonder Woman, overall. But they are hard to compare.
