Vacancy 2 Has the Wright Stuff
Source:Variety
April 21, 2008

Actor Trevor Wright is joining the cast of Stage 6's Vacancy 2, the direct-to-DVD prequel to last year's thriller starring Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale. The young actor has enjoyed stints on television shows like NYPD Blue and The George Lopez Show, he recently starred in the romantic drama Shelter (not to be confused with the Julianne Moore-starring upcoming supernatural flick).

Directed by Eric Bross, Vacancy 2 stars Agnes Bruckner, Lola Davidson, Angel Oquendo, David Moscow, Nelson Lee, Brian Klugman. The plot, this time, concerns a couple and their best friend who check into a motel hotel where the staff produces snuff films.

He's cute and I loved the first one.

who was he on george lopez? He doesnt look familiar.

I thought Vacancy was a decent thriller. I doubt they'll live up to it.

I thought the first was so and so and too short. I mean i own i but only preused cause it was cheap lol.

Now that you've shown me The Strangers (although I only have a partial indication of what it will be) it's clear that Vacancy is nothing but a watered-down thriller.

yeah plus
what happens to the luke wilson character is kinda dumb. woudn't he bleed to death through the night?

The first one was good... until the end. It was stupid.

I'm gonna have to check out the first one pretty soon, been wanting to see it

Didn't think they would make another one, but I did like the first one and how it ended was a pretty good thriller.

(This is actually out now. Torrents.)

the first movie was an anti-climatic letdown...it was just "ok".

The first one was a good thriller that had a charming B-movie atmosphere with a good cast and aspirations for Hitchcock. While it was most certainly no Hitchcock it was very enjoyable.

This sounds awful. It will probably be like one of those snuff films in the first one and more graphic of the Strangers, Hostel variety. No thanks.

Vacancy sucked ass. And the sad fact is, with a premise like that, it not only could have been a lot better, but it SHOULD have.

The sequel won't be getting a red cent from me.
