That page is an interview with the production designer Ed Verreaux. There are links to other interviews on the same page.

Sorry if this was already posted, I couldn't recall seeing it. But no doubt Retro will prove me wrong.
Me? Moi? I wouldn't dare.:ninja::woot:

Very interesting interview.Verreaux did a good job on the movie and with tight schedule as well.Him working on the first movie was definetly a plus so he was already familar with the world of the x-men coming in.

Whats a shame is that so many details of the sets described in that report aren't visible in the movie.

Another plus - They seemed to save a lot of money by reusing sets from the previous films such as the expensive Cerebro door (200,000 dollars!), the X-Jet etc. so i hope they keep those for X4. If that ever becomes a reality.:yay:

^How did Verreaux work on the first movie?

Yes Ed Verreaux did work on the first movie before John Myhre came on board.Heres what one of the crew members who collaborated with him and Singer, concept designer Warren Manser, had to said.

From Warrenmanser.com:

X-Men
Release Date: 2000
Director: Bryan Singer
Production Designer: John Myhre
Ed Verreaux

Sometimes films are started with one team and then shut down for a short period for various reasons and then restart with a different team.Many times this is because in the interim time people have moved on to other projects.I worked on the X-Men movie with Ed Verreaux during an early phase, but my work was available to the final production and is featured on the dvd. I created some concepts for the X-Jet and Magneto's helicopter. I like the finished film very much and I appreciate the thought that went into it more each time i watch it.

P.S: John Myhre has won 2 Oscars for his work on other films since the release of X-Men.:ninja:
