No way, thats pretty lame. RIP
I remember the threads regarding his health, that's really sad.
Yeah, it is weird. Most of the time you only see people with real problems trying to live their life to the fullest, enjoying every moment they have and doing what they can. I want to slap some people and tell 'em how ridiculous they're being sometimes. Including myself. I think the attitude comes from having a problem though, puts stuff into perspective. Crazyness.
I'll be praying his family get thru it, know what it's like to lose a loved one.
Like said above, sometimes you argue over the most trivial things, and forget it's someone else on the keyboard on the otherside sometimes.
Rest In Peace Brad, AKA Venom71
Aww man, he's got a SM3 countdown clock. He didn't even get to see Venom on the big screen. One of the true olbies who stuck around and he goes before the one character he wants to see turns up. That sucks.
I know, I feel so undeserving.
Aaawwww. That really sucks. Rest in peace, V-man71.
Ihope his famly is coping alright
This thread's got me wondering where Lumberjack is
rest in peace. give the angels hell dude!
I'm not sure if I ever ran into V71, but his username does seem really familiar to me.
May God rest his soul.
In IMing with him, it gave me some much needed perspective...
As bad as I thought my life was at the time, I had to think how well he dealt with his life and his much more serious problems.
He had such a childlike joy when it came to what he loved... Spider-man, Superman Returns... A girl he loved who, unfortunately, didn't love him...
He loved the new show Heroes too.
Yep, that's the saddest part. He was looking so forward to that...
If he had to die, why couldn't his death have waited long enough for him to see the new film?
Me and Venom always had a good time on the Superman boards....bar none the most life-loving guy I posted with. You couldn't pay Venom71 to be mean to anyone on these boards. (despite how mean people were to him sometimes)
This one really sucks .....I'm gonna miss Brad. I'm glad he got the chance to see Superman fly through the air one last time recently. I can only imagine how much something like that must have meant to him in his quest. RIP Venom71, talk about a real life Superman. Wow. I knew he was in and out of the hospital recently, I had no idea it was this grave. Godspeed to his family.
Though I didn't know him personally, I'm deeply saddened to learn of this tragic turn of events. Rest in peace, Brad.
Death always makes me think of this little poem/quote that I see all the time on sympathy cards, so I'll post it here.
EDIT: I hope no one takes offense to the fact that the above quote is often used by people running memorial websites for their dogs, I've always been touched by that little eulogy, so I felt it was appropriate.
To be more in depth from my original post, R.I.P. And as the picture below says, "May flights of angels singe thee to rest."
(and I know Venom71 was a guy and not a woman like in the picture, but the meaning behind the pic still stands)
I remember him from the SR board, this is really sad, I always remeber him to be jolly and cheerful. RIP dude.
I don't remember him but R.I.P. all the same.
wow, this reminds me of 1 of my freinds (in real life) i have seen that guy
I'm very sad to hear this, he was a great guy, always very positive. I'm happy for him that he got to see SR before he passed, being as he was so looking forward to it. Happy he loved it as well. He was a great guy. RIP.
When i saw the name of this thread my heart sank as i knew he had problems i just had to double check to make sure i had the right Venom
So sad he was the most positve guy on the SR board and a friendly guy,i used joke about how no matter what he was sure SR would be great.
i had noticed that he wasn't posting when the sequel was announced but it never crossed my mind that he might have died
so the internet isnt part of real life?
awe man...i thought he was getting better...
may you continue to enjoy superhero movies from whatever plain of reality you now reside.
damn that sucks... even though I didn't get along with the guy at first, I did come to respect him a lot for what he's been through in his life.
Rest in peace buddy.
