Venom's Wisecracks and Fighting Style (Threads Merged)

Fighting style:
Venom is an odd fighter, because he rages similarly to Wolverine, but he also can fight with a cool head (using the symbiote as effective weapons). Agility and speed rivals Spider-Man, strength and stamina Venom surpasses Spidey.

Spidey has never bested Venom in a true 1 on 1 fight, he's always used either technology, psychology, or others' intervention to best Venom.

I hope to see a lengthy cross-city websling battle similar to the one in the comics where Spidey leads Venom to the laboratory thinking he'll "quick freeze" Venom. Venom needs to attack at least once with tendrils, but more often just punch and grapple.

As for Venom quips... Spidey has zero humor in the films, so I have little faith in the movie for Venom's violent humor... Some of my favorite Venom lines in the comics have been:

" 'Nova beam'? Spiffy Name! We think we'll call this broken water pipe 'Rodney!' "
"Innocence is precious and should be protected. We were innocent once."
<paraphrased> "We've rid the streets of thugs, rapists, gangs, and killers, but do we hear 'Thank you, Mr. Venom?' Nooooo... New York sends out it's finest to capture us!"
"No need to thank us! Your smiling face is reward enough!"
<paraphrased> "Your eyes lie. Your mouth will follow. See how the rat struggles as I extract oxygen from the webbing? I have more webbing. lots more."

spiderman has said, "heres your change", that was funny, but, he doesnt make that many spoofs in the movies, its not bad though, venom is a villian that makes wisecracks when hes fighting, i hope they do that in spidey3, my favorite line from venom in the comics was, "honey, im home", his first appearance.

Why do people come up with childish 'quips' and put a smiley face next to them, as if they are the best thing since sliced bread?

If Venom does have a wisecrack it should be macabre and pithy. Not so that you laugh out loud but so that you smirk to yourself.

But as we are on the subject of crap 'witty' cracks heres one:

Venom: My back really hurts
SM: Where?
V: Just, just the really lower bit, especially when i sit on a chair.
SM: Thats the worst kind isn't it?
V: Yeah.
SM: Well why don't i give you the special Peter Parker back rub, MJ loves it, to the max.
V: Sounds good.
(after 30 mins of an intense 'Peter Parker special'
SM: good?
V: It really was.
