hello again SHH!
i know this one probably belongs n the tehnical help forum, but nobody looks there and i need urgent help, but is the mods see fit, then by all means move it.
Problem:
It is of the utmost importance taht i find some video editing software. I used to use windows movie maker...but now the bugger won't open large files and movies so i can make some fan-vids :(
then came premier pro, i suck at it, i can edit using it, but the files are incredebly large when i save them and i am having lots of trouble with the dsp, frame rate, and rezm taht (god knows why) i need to set before i begin editing...
then Vegas, i really really like the vegas editor, but it doesn't open AVIs, it only gets the sound...

so guys, please help me, recomment a new software or tell me what to do to these?
Now damnit, now! :cmad:

Ive always used premier pro (and after Effects) and had no problems

ABout P. Pro what are you saving your files as?

But really if you want a top line editing suite I would suggest wither Final Cut Pro or Avid. Avid works on a PC but is pricey FCP is a MAC program.

i'll try final cut pro now.
The problems i've had with P pro are taht i can't find a good compresion ratio (a 2min file had 1GB! And taht i need to work out the rez i want to work with before i get into the editing

and, just so we're clear, i'm gonna download a cracked final cut pro, and if i'm happy with it i will go and buy it the first chance i get. :)
