Video Games to 3D animation movies

There's been so many flops regarding video games to real action movies and on the other hand so many success with 3d animations movies. I'm thinking should Hollywood & video games company like Atari, Nintendo, Sega, konami & Capcom Focus on translating video games to 3D animation movies rather than real action movies? And what games would you like to see first as 3D animatin movies?

No, no, no You're forgetting the one all important word that leads to the success of these films. 3D animated *children's* movies. If it's animated and ISN'T rated PG or less, then it's probably not going to do well.

EDIT: Though something like a PG rated Mario film done in the spirit of Shrek would probably be pretty successful.

Well I'm definitely not for G OR PG movies BUT I got tell you this: I've got a lot of fun watching Panda & Wall-e. I would REALLY like to see pixar working on Zelda and Mario the way he did with Wall-e

Some times fmv are better than some crappy live action movies; I saw metal gear solid4 and Oh lord! this is good Fmv! I wouldn't mind see a full movie of that!

Super mario (like Panda)
Sonic the hedgehog (like Wall-e)
Zelda (more like star wars clone war)
Meroid
Metalgera solid4( same as his fmv)
Street fighter 2( like Final fantasy or matrix 3D intro)
