Hmm I didn't create a thread for my other two videos, but I decided to do it with this one. I guess this is probably the crappiest one, since there's no actual footage of Jean rising, and I did it in a bit of a rush, so go easily at it:

Also, unfortunately Youtube cut a lil bit of the ending. It was supposed to be like 1 second longer. But I hope you guys like, even if in a trashy kind of way.

I could try. At first, I tried camera movements, so that it didn't look so dull, but that fire is really, really hard to mess on, especially when you want to scale it up/down. It would feature some zoom while she's rising, until you got to her face. But I ended up dropping everything and make a camera still shot.

I loved it... the only thing that was a little cheap for me was the bird sounds.

Do you mind if I lend some advice?
Well, maybe if you just got a scene of Jean in action, but just brightened it to the point where it wouldn't be extremely detailed, but you would be able to just see her. You could do that instead of the manip flying.
Also, when her eyes open, maybe you could get her eyes from the x-jet glowing, but only make it so you could see her eyes and not her hair. (If that's possible)
Maybe instead of the bird sounds you could get more of a low scream or something... but I don't really know about the bird sounds. Haha...
These are just thoughts and I had to share. I know you are someone who could pull it off. I'm trying to learn, but I am nowhere near getting to your level.

yeah, right after I posted it on Youtube I noticed how loud the screech was. It was supposed to be something reallly subtle (that's why my ps on the comments, I thought few people would notice) but it ended up being way too loud.

And it's kind of impossible to get footage of Jean moving that way. First because in few scenes she's actully looking to the front. Second, because she can't move much. It would get really strange. Believe me, I tried that. But I had to end up choosing to work on a still picture, because I couldn't find the right footage.

About the eyes, the effect was to have her actually opening them. That is not possible with the X2 footage. I can't zoom it too. It would geet pixelated.
