Sequels Villain in the next X-Men movie

After first class is done, who would you like to be the villain in the next movie? Just for fun I'm going to limit your choices to villains who have not been featured yet.

If they do First Class 2, I think Sinister would be nice.

I like the idea of Hellfire Club and Sinister as old x-men villains, that could return in a possible X4 (althoug that would mean new actors for X4)

Would love to see a fourth X-men installment under Singer. Would think it wise if Chris Macquarrie wrote it.

Would like to see them tackle the Sentinel program. Maybe have Bill Duke's character (Trask) fired after the way he handled the events of X3: The Last Stand. He becomes disgruntled and is demoted... He goes on to hate mutants because of this, and starts Project Wide Awake. Maybe hints to the return of Cyclops and set up Mr. Sinister as the villain in X5 with En Saba Nur in the final X6..that would be an awesome trilogy.

Sinister for First Class 2, Sentinels for X4.

I'd base a forth film heavily on Days Of Future Past. There could be a fantastic, meta-textual need to undo certain events. I switch Kitty for Rogue, sending the latter back in time to before the cure situation came about. She would reveal how everything became hostile after the cure "wore off" and riots began. The X-Men (Xavier,Cyclops,Storm,Rogue,NightCrawler & Ice-Man) try to prevent the nightmare future from happening.

It could patch over X3, keeping it canon but demoting it to an alternate future. You could keep the original cast, and marginalise Wolverine for a while (he was still drifting before X3) but keep him as a big figure in the Sentinel future scenes to keep everyone happy.

I really think the main villain for X4 shouldn't Magneto. It should be someone really big like Apocalypse or Mr. Sinister or the Sentinels.

If it is Sentinels for X4, I hope its mentioned that they were funded by Sebastian Shaw. It would be nice to link the Prequels and Sequels, specially if they are going ahead with releasing them concurrently. (Thats if Shaw survives FC)


I dont know how they could adapt Sinister for the big screen. He's kinda all powerful (he has every power going lol), and i think it might come across cheesy/unoriginal on film.

I think Matthew/Singer will keep Magneto and Hellfire for the sequel.

But they'll probably add a political plot with a main character as the focus.... but not sure who could be.

what about Friends of humanity?

I dont know much about them, but it could be interesting.
