Villains in the Movies/Movie games

Theres been alot of speculation about which villains will be in the next few spidey films..ppl keep saying the Lizard will be in it..or Black Cat or Carnage, or Mysterio..but out of curiosity..how exactly would some of that work out in terms of the movie games? many villains and other characters have been used in previous movie games..so how would they translate that into one of the actual films?

If they were to use any villains that were in the movie games does that mean the next movie game will not be in continuty with the last 3? for exapmle say the use the Lizard in spider-Man 4, will the movie game be forced to completely ignore the stroy they had in the SM3 game?
And yes I know the movie games are not canon with the actual films themselves..but It would seem somewhat rather odd for the movie games to be in a situation where a character that was used before will be used in an actual film?

do you think that there is a possibility for some of the stories in the games to become canon with the films? Like if the movies start making refrences to events that happened with shocker, and vulture, and Rhino, and Mysterio, and The Lizard? and on the flip side do u think that maybe this is why certain characters haven't been used in the films yet? Becuase they were already used in the games? are the games their way of saying "sorry we couldn't fit these characters into the actual film.but if they were this is how it would have been done"?

and if the games having certain characters somehow screws up the movies being able to have them should the games just be 100% exactly bassed off the films or just not have the games made at all?

IDK this is just 1 of the things in terms of charatcers showing up in movies that we haven't seen yet but might have already been used in the movie games that i've been pondering about.

The games have nothing to do with the movies.

Example: Mary Jane finds out in the first Spider-Man adaptation game, but finds out in the actual movie of Spider-Man 2.

So I doubt the villains in the games would make a difference for the movies.

Plus, Vulture was meant to be a villain for Spider-Man 3, and was even in the first video game.

I already stated that i know the movie games are not cananon with the films..and MJ didn't find out peter was spidey in the first movie game...she found out in the second movie gaem just like the film itself.

no man,she found out in the first one man, right after the final battle with the goblin. either that, or it's left ambiguous. I got the impression she found out.

I agree with you mainly on the Lizard story. If he is used, they'll be pretty much repeating the story they told in the Spiderman 3 game in the new game about Spiderman 4. Confusing, lol.

This is mostly relevant with him because he got a full origin and storyarc in the third game. Seeing as he's likely to appear in Spiderman 4, he'll get his origin and story arc in the movie and then in the fourth game, completly repeating and ignoring what happened in the last game.

It's also relevant because, with Lizard, there's a sense of a timeline with the character that the other villains don't have. The before, during and after the accident. While other villains are likely to pop up once in a while and being used continuosly because of what they do, Lizard is an accidental bad guy who doesn't really have that much occurence during Spidey's life. They keep making up bad plots to make him become the Lizard again but even when they go back to him, if we compare his appearances with the other guys, he doesn't really pop up that frequently like the other villains do.

It's weird for him to pop twice in a row and specially with the same story.

I agree on the Lizard thing. If they did do Lizard and Kraven it would be the same storyline from the SM3 game and we'll be doing it all over again in the SM4 game.

So just becuase he says "Mary Jane theres something I have to tell you..I.." and then she cuts him off by saying "I know tiger..u don't have to say it"
that proves that she knows peter is spider-man? sorry but i dissagree with u on that 1...from my point of view it seems as if he was about to say "I love you" but she cut him off and they just skip staright to kissing..that seems more likely..especially since so far the movie games have been cannon with each other and in the second game MJ finds out peter is spider-man:

Green Goblin is Spidey's arch enemy, of course he would be used in one of the 3 first movies
Same thing with Doc Ock
Venom was added because of his large popularity
Sandman was added because he's Raimi's and Tobey's favourite
New Goblin was bound to happen

So I'd say no to that theory
