Constantine Drakon would make for some pretty awesome fights

League of Assassians/League of Shadows.

Bringing in Lady Shiva, Jade/Chesire would be totally welcomed.

Secret Six, they could even do Scandal Savage in a believable way if they chose to.

and of course some original intriguing villains.

heres a heroine i'd liketo see black canary arroneeds his pretty bird

I want to see Arrow and a sidekick, be it Roy or whoever, leave Starling to go after the Suicide Squad.

 Vertigo could be interesting and I like the idea of Lady Shiva.

I second Vertigo. And this may be a result of watching Young Justice but depending how Vertigo's adapted (I strongly suspect Barrowman's character will be Vertigo, or this show's equivalent), Queen Bee could make for an interesting villain as well.

I wonder if this show could pull of a version of Clock King similar to the BTAS version?

Vertigo - Don't mind if they change his origin, he could use a revamp. I agree with Mr. Peasant, maybe its Barrowman's character.
Clock King - like overlord suggested, something similar to BTAS would be a cool self contained story
Brick - His name is on the list, so we'll probably see him.
Great White Shark - Think he could make a visually interesting villain even though he's from batman.
Onomatopoeia - this is a tricky one in terms of translation because it could come off as very cheesy if not handled well. But he could also make a very creepy villain.
Shado - Don't know much about her, wouldnt be surprised if we saw her.

I would also like to see the creators take a crack at making up some cool villains.

I'd love to see Scarface and the Ventriloquist so up. Maybe also Black Mask.

League of shadows, Red Hood.

Red Hood would be very interesting best thing is they could do what they wanted with him but still have him be the character, infact he could even be Jason Todd.

characters like Red Hood should last longer than 2-3 episodes... whole/half seasons could revolve around special characters like that.

Definitely

Count Vertigo
Merlyn
White Ghost.
Bane.
Anarky.
Blockbuster.
Psimon.
Vandal Savage
Cheshire Cat
Lady Shiva.
Catwoman.
Lex Luthor.

Would it be weird if I said Solomon Grundy? I guess, maybe for a Halloween episode (not Season 1, obviously). But maybe, even for a regular one?

Also, what about Shado? Perhaps as a Yakuza 'oyabun'/boss (or rather, the daughter of one; but also the one in charge of Starling City's operation)? I think Arrow needs a face to its organised crime to help flesh the scene out. Plus, more Green Arrow villains in the show is always good, imo.

Vandal Savage is a great idea, you could leave his immortality ambigious too. Infact he'd be a great villain for a full series arc and if they wanted to introduce more supernatural elements later he'd be a good villain to break the barrier with.

I could see Grundy done as a kind of hallucination, infact maybe you could use the episode to introduce a character similar to scarecrow who uses fear toxins, maybe you could even use Scarecrow although I'd say if they were to ever have Batman on the show use him then.

Tbh the villain possibilities. For this show are exciting. I even hope they create some new villains and I don't mind them borrowing from other rogues galleries as this could be the only way we might get to see some of these characters.

^I agree, we have the chance to see some lesser known villains that will probably never see live action. I really like the way they re-imagined the royal flush gang. There are a lot of villains that could use some revamping.

Especially in regards to Green Arrow's rogues.

I do wonder though are the people in Hockey Masks actually the Royal Flush Gang or people hired by them? I wonder if initially be shown as the Royal Flush Gang but be revealed as a decoy for the real thing or something.

I just can't wait to see what the show brings, I think the final seasons of Smallville showed you can do a DC Universe and Arrow doesn't have to suffer from not tapping into the Universe as the first few seasons of Smallville did.

Drakon appeared in the pilot as Adam Hunt's head of security.
I need to rewatch the episode again but did he call him Constantine? I'm hoping not so the character actually has a chance. If that was really meant to be THE Constantine Drakon then these guys have some books to pick up.

I'm also throwing in Onomatopoeia. I think he'd be creepy good.

Absolutely agree. That's another character from that run that I don't want to see screwed up. Brick would also be great as someone who takes over as a crime boss Ollie goes through his list.
